I have only this much to go and I've lost 15% of my body weight. I feel SO proud of myself for having come this far, a way to go yet, but I'll get there. Once I've finished, I will have lost 27% of my weight, so another 10kg to go, but hey, I'll get there easily enough :) It's already over a 10kg (22lb) sack of potatoes!
But my goals is what I should be writing about today, what are my goals.
I guess my goals are to be healthier, weigh less and to have a good tummy measurement in the long term. No idea what this means in the short term other than hard work like I've been doing.
The other two is to loose this 4% this month for the two diet bets I'm doing, and secondly, to continue to take my pills on a daily basis.

So, on the 7th February, I did a HUGE thing, and I ran 1.8km or 1 mile approx. Huge for me! :) I ran the whole thing at about a 9.5kmph pace.
Then, more amazingly, yesterday, I decided to push myself - so I ran 5km non-stop. That is SO much bigger!
I have decided I want a GPS watch again (I had one 5 years ago til I hurt myself) so I've decided that I will be allowed it once I get to 100km biked (I did 20km today, so I'm at 50km now - exercycle) and I've run 30km. I'm at 1.8+1.8+5 now (8.6) so a good number to go, but very acheiveable in a short enough amount of time. I can't wait to get a watch, even if it's a secondhand one again :) And it's such a good non scale victory reward!

Today I crossed the 5kg mark. I've been having heaps of Non-scale victories too this week. I have an indent at the bottom of my tummy where muscle is, lost 10cm in my tummy measurements, can exercise at a higher heart rate than I used to be able to, and I have energy. I am feeling so pleased with myself. I can ALSO resist temptation.
This weeks goals are so far so good. The one thing I want to start doing though is spending time with God each day. It's not right for me that I get the rest of my life sorted and not that part.

So far, my points have been pretty much perfect for the challenge. I've been meeting all the goals, doing all the challegne parts, and it's not been particularly HARD. I'm going to push myself further and faster in the coming 3 weeks as I want to be as light and fit as possible before 25th Feb as that will mean I have more energy for the teaching practice. So, starting tomorrow, for a week, I'm going to be commiting to three things.
1 - Get enough water each day. 2.3 litres that is.
2 - 60 minutes exercise minimum, 5 days this week, and ideally some on the other days at least.
3. Keep comitting to my 100ish calories after dinner every SECOND night only.
