Running in NMTuesday, June 22, 2010
Last night I did w2d2 of c25k. My mother-in-law watched the grand babies in the park while I ran near a mountain in NM. I quickly learned i needed to drink lots of water! I got dizzy during my first run. And I learned to run down a long hill and walk back up it and did fine. I'm getting much better at running. ![]()

In the heat it is soo important to stay well hydrated. Lesson learned. That is why I run/walk at sunrise. The weather is so much better. I'm keeping my eye on you!!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Yes - hydration is very important! I have really learned that when I am even slightly dehydrated my runs are MUCH harder. Since I run so early in the morning that means making sure I am getting my 8-10 cups of water the day before otherwise I pay for it! Have a great time!
