I went to the emergency room yesterday after another stressful day at work.
I thought for sure I was having a heart attack. I had all the symptoms and was totally scared.
I called my doctor,who I didn't see in 3 years (I don't have insurance) and she told me to go to the ER. So I left work at 2pm and picked up my husband and went.
We wre there from around 2:45 until 8:00pm.
They did afew tests and from all the stress I have high blood pressure. (I have always had low pressure) I can understand that as you get older you can develope high pressure but I felt like my face was gonna blow up out my ears.
Anyway, I am seeing the doctor this Friday morning and I am going to really eat better than I have been.After I see her Friday I am going to start my Yoga back up. I am just walking now as I feel a bit light headed(unless this feeling goes away sooner.
I was worrying about Bill,(hubby) and not REALLY taking better care of me,and thankfully I was scared into thinking how dumb that was.
We ate good today. I am going to get another big glass of water, I did do 6427 steps,2.55 miles and burned 1152 calories.
Plus we got more snow and I sill took our dog for a few walks.

    Glad to hear that it wasn't a heart attack! Sounds like this was efinitely a wake up call, but how sad to have to experience something like this.
Since you don't have insurance, make sure you check with the hospital in their financial services department because hospitals have it where some of your bill can be written off depending on your income.

I am keeping up with Ultimate Yogi, I did my 5th day today and the 3rd hard core exercise this week.
I know I missed posting a day or two but I did do at least 5000 steps a day.Tonight I did 7337 steps,1183 calories burned and 2.9 miles.
I brought in 4 wheel barrows full of wood for the bin so thats pretty good for a days work.

    My Fitbit doesn't work. I only get about 1200 steps a day and I'm walking a lot.

I did good yesterday with my exercising eating and cheerfulness.
I did a 1 mile brisk walk, I made my 10,000 steps and I did my yoga and the 20 minute core exercise that goes with it.
My friend Paula stopped for a few minutes and my son and his girl stopped later in the evening.
I even spent some time with Bella.
We had a Good day.
Hope yours was as nice.

I did 6783 steps,2.69 miles and1109 calories burned.(while I had it on)
I ate so so, except for the starbucks gourmet hot cocoa someone gave me for Christmas and a zillion tablespoons of marshmallow fluff (that made me feel barfy) shame on me.
BUT, tomorrow is the start of a new month, a new year and I promise I am going to ...
1 do the 108 day Ultimate yogi workout,
2 eat healthy (shooting for a lot of fresh fruits and veggies)
3 Break (or at least wound big time) my sweet tooth
4 get my house in order to simplify my life (declutter and donate all that I don't need)
5 Get my office organized (at work)
6 Make sure I at least walk 10,000 steps
7 Have a good attitude at home and every where I go
8 Drink more water
9 Take good care of myself and my husband
10 Be grateful for all I have and keep smiling!
I wish everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year!

I did 6531 steps,2.58 miles,1071calories burned with the Fitbit on.
(sometimes I take the dog out and forget to put it on)
That's ok, as long as I do 5000 steps I'm happy,Not as happy as when I do my goal of 10,000 a day but happy .
I did bring a few wheel barrows full of wood, I loaded the hay racks and I walked in place for 20 minutes while swinging my arms while I listened to Food matters.
Iwe have a lot of snow and it's cold and blowing around in drifts but the roads are in pretty good shape.

    LOl I too forget sometimes to put it back on after charging it, then get home from dog walking adn arghhhhhh but as long as I see over 10,000 day I am happy. Sometimes it will be low and I will say well had it off half the day and did the same walks so pertty sure it is over 10. lol
