I did 6531 steps,2.58 miles,1071calories burned with the Fitbit on.
(sometimes I take the dog out and forget to put it on)
That's ok, as long as I do 5000 steps I'm happy,Not as happy as when I do my goal of 10,000 a day but happy .
I did bring a few wheel barrows full of wood, I loaded the hay racks and I walked in place for 20 minutes while swinging my arms while I listened to Food matters.
Iwe have a lot of snow and it's cold and blowing around in drifts but the roads are in pretty good shape.

    Keep moving and those steps will come easier and easier. Sounds like you also get a workout taking care of the horses!

    Good for you! I find it hard to keep moving in cold weather. Well, what we have here isn't really cold from your perspective.

    LOl I too forget sometimes to put it back on after charging it, then get home from dog walking adn arghhhhhh but as long as I see over 10,000 day I am happy. Sometimes it will be low and I will say well had it off half the day and did the same walks so pertty sure it is over 10. lol

Dec.27th part 2

I did better today. 13,771steps , 5.44 miles, 1254 calories burned.
I ate a lot better today,too.
The trick for me is to not eat or sit down until I get the exercise out of the way.
I am going to start the 108 day ultimate yogi again in Jan.
Tonight I did 4 fast mile walk with Leslie Sansone.
I didn't do that one for awhile and it is a mover.Thirsty work but I'm glad I did it.

I only did 4837 steps,1.94 miles and 1237 calorie burn and that's because I came home lazy. I made and ate supper with hubby and plopped on the couch and that was it. Done.
I took Precious out but a quick walk only.
I know some of the steps I miss because I don't have the quick bit on yet so I at least feel a few steps better but I was just lazy. I said "I'll wait till this meal settles and then I'll do my Yoga" well that didn't happen so (guilty) as charged.
I also explored the fitbit meal log this morning and found out it was doubling the meals I ate.
I thought you could enter each meal at different times but I guess not,so I will try to link at night only?!? I hope.
WELL, today is another day,New start and plenty of snow to go around.
This morning blog is for yesterday's 12/26 logging.
Too lazy to even blog. emoticon

    So far not the major storm expected. Maybe 6-inches so far...and about half way through the time predicted. Thus, the so far just an ordinary snow storm. We have plenty of Winter left for the super snow storm.... If we must I hope it comes before March.

    As I can attest, it's easy to slow down a little during the holidays. Of course a lot of snow may slow you down even more. Good luck!

Christmas

First I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope everyone had a good one.
Now for today, I did an hour of Yoga (ultimate yogi day 1) plus the 20 minute core exercise.
Went for a walk with the dog twice and I did 1224 calories burned, I don't think it counts the yoga but that's ok,I did 5900 steps, I take it off for yoga I don't think it would really add that much if any steps and it logged me in at 2.34 miles.
I can live with that.
I ate pretty good EXCEPT for those darn cookies. I should have got a muzzle for Christmas.:)

    I am betting that you did a whole lot better with the cookies this year than you would have if you were not paying attention. So, you are human, you succumb to temptation. But like I said bet you did a whole lot better than you are giving yourself credit.
