Thanking all who are praying for my broyher and his family.{{hugs to all of you}}

I did do my 3rd day of yoa (1 hour strength).
It seemed like something to do.
I am going to rest before I have to go back to work. :(

Prayers are needed

Please pray for my brother who is in Hospice,that he goes with God peaefully and for his wife and three girls that they have the strength they need to get through this sad time.

Day 2

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

I did my 2nd day of yoga. (1 hour) It was a cardio yoga.
We didn't go for a walk yet because of the weather but we will go for a walk later.

I made couscous for lunch. It was really good.

I made the Couscous as directed on the box.
I sautéed a whole sweet onion and a few stalks of celery,some garlic powder,then added the Couscous.
Then I added a small can of Rotel and a can of petite tomatoes.
It had a nice hot taste but not overly hot. My husband loved it.

That's it so far. Exercising early in the day is great. Anything else I do now is "gravy".
Let's Focus on moving forward.

Day 1

Monday, January 13, 2014

I have been doing good so far this month for the new year.
My husband's triglycerides were off the charts so he's doing more to get things in shape.

Since Jan. 9, (after getting his results) we are eating cleaner, Healthy salads with our meals,(as Vegan as we can get) drinking a lot of water, and we walk at least 1.5 miles in the afternoon between my school run.

I'm calling it my day one (even though I have been doing something from the 1st) because I started to do my 108 day Yoga dvd again.

So I am on day one with an hour of Yoga, (plus our walk) and I kept running through the house for 20 minutes to make my Spark Activity tracker goal of 9000.
My Fitbit was 14142 steps.
The steps don't ever match so I have to do more.
Oh well.
Day one.

    Sounds good to me. Was considering getting a spark when my fitbit croaks, but not sure now if the tracking isn't close.

I too run around the house to try and get my steps in when the weather is bad.

New Year Goals

Sunday, December 29, 2013

Eat Healthy (a plant strong Diet)
Plan meals & snacks
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
Walk at least 15 minutes a day
Exercise at least 10 minutes a day (pushing for 20)
I plan to keep moving more and FOCUS!! on what the heck I am doing.
PLUS I am going to be nice and kind and a good person.

    Did you know that people that are selfish don't say, I am going to be a nicer person.

    You seem like you are definitely on the right track. basically 3x's 1/2 hour or 45 minutes is what the body needs to function & stay flexible. I knew a women that walked 5 miles a day, at 87. I read about what this amount of exercising does, and here is what it said. That is possibly extends your life by 5 years. because it put extra oxygen into your body. eva emoticon
