Not only are there buds on trees and bushes, but my weeping willow has delicate green leaves on it.....very pretty. I do enjoy the bare limbs of winter, but am always glad to see the new green on trees, too.
We had a couple of rainy days, but today is another sunshiney day, and I'm lovin' it. I already have 'hounded' my walking buddy to join me tomorrow for another walk in the neighborhood. I have to admit that if it weren't for our standing appts to walk together, I wouldn't get enuf exercise some days. She keeps me accountable.
Partly due to me (lazy, LOVING FOOD!) and partly due to the looooong respiritory infection I had this month, I'm not going to make my goal of being under 150 by the end of the month. HOWEVER, I'm re-adjusting and am working on seeing how much I CAN lose in the remaining days of March. I'm not discouraged, just a bit disappointed. Of course, I also haven't been working as hard at controlling my eating as I should have been - all my fault.
Now that I'm admiting my (controllable) part in this, I'm forgetting what is behind, and am pressing on towards the goal.
Have a great day everyone.

I walked w/my buddy today for the 1st time in MONTHS! Neither of us can walk in the cold, so during the winter I used my treadmill. It was WONDERFUL to walk outside today - warm, but not hot; slight breeze, great company. I've warned her that we WILL be doing this regularly again.

I did do slightly better yesterday w/fats, etc, but nothing to really brag about. BUT, 'baby steps' count. Did even better today w/nutrition.
We were out of town for a few days, and eating out can KILL me if I'm not hyper-vigilent. I'm home again (and glad for it), and now that I seem to have completely lost the respiratory infection that plagued me for so long, I am planning to resume serious exercise tomorrow. I won't go all out all at once - I'm too smart (and lazy) for that, but tomorrow is the resumption of Nancy exercise! I'm looking forward to it.
We went to Dayton, OH to the Nat'l Museum of the US Air Force. Fantastic place! For all the time we spent there, we still didn't see everything, so plan to go back again one day. It's only a day's drive - easy peasy.
Darby (our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, aka pit bull) was happy to see us. She had a good stay at the pet resort, and the folks there just love her, too.
We're looking at RV's - trying to decide 1st of all if we want to go that route. It would be easier to take Darby w/us, and would also give the room to take our grandsons occasionally. But we're just scratching the surface of 'yes, no'. Not interested in towing anything, although a 5th wheel isn't entirely out of the question. Probably a Class C or B+ (for those of you who know the difference). Don't want the huge-ness of a class A, either.
Hope you all have a great night's rest and a wonderful tomorrow.

Thought I was doing not too badly w/nutrition today, but after I'd tracked it all, well, let's just leave the details a secret between me and my body; but suffice it to say that I really blew it with fats. sigh.
Ok, Nancy, it's just one day. Tomorrow WILL be better.
Spent a nice day w/DH - just the two of us spending time together. I'm glad we're both retired.
