ah HA!!! How to predict your Spark Points Wheel points

What can I say.... I'm a spark points junkie!

Call me nerdy, but I noticed that I could predict my spark points earned when I spin the login wheel. Kinda bummed now, knowing ahead of time that I won't hit on the BIG points before I click 'spin'.

First, take notice where the arrow is. Then, count three boxes to the RIGHT. My points have consistenly landed on that number for the last week.

    Never even knew there was a sparkpoints wheel! I guess we represent opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to observation!

    You're a genius! I'm going to have to check that out the next time I spin the wheel. I wonder if you refresh the page if you get a different set of numbers.

Personally, I think the the website has something against me, because I rarely get more than a 1, while others are getting 20 or 100 points. I think there must be a correlation between your activity on the site and the points you get.

    When I am sore, I try to be positive. When our muscles are sore, they are burning calories to try to repair the damaged muscles. When they do, the come back bigger. The bigger the muscles, the more calories it takes to sustain them- that is matabolism! So when you're sore, just think about how amazing you're doing and how many calories you're burning by just sitting there!

I forgot to take measurements a month ago when I re-started, but I SWEAR my butt looks smaller.

If you see my consistency, You'd hope I wasn't imagining things.

It's my own fault, really... to think that there may be a TV Personality out there that actually believes what they say, and supports the hype of their show as part of their ethical fabric in other areas of their lives.

Oops... my fault... Of course not.

I was shopping this weekend and caught glimpse of a dietary "supplement" with Jillian Michaels (from the Biggest Loser) face and body on it. It should be known that I have a particular aversion to celebrity endorsements and the irrisponsible use of mass media- hence my slightly elevated irritation.

Apparently, there's not Santa Clause, either. What's this world coming too.

    the whole biggest loser thing has always struck a chord with me.

they put the idea out there that you can/should lose waaaay too much in too little time for the average joe

most people can't and shouldn't do what they do on that show anyway!

and yes, it IS sad what people will do for $$$
bet the biggest losers don't take her supplement!!!

    I've seen her diet products which I feel are completely contradictory to what she tries to promote during the BL, it's amazing what some will do for $$.

  I totally agree, while i love the biggest looser. I feel like it is being too commercialized and I am starting to question what kind of advice they are giving. Whether is is real or if they are trying to make money. Hopefully it is a little of both. My hope is that they have enough integrity to say no if it is product they don't believe in or if they don't think people should use something as a weight loss tool.

    Endorsements can certainly be irresponsible and down right unethical but, with complete agreement for your point, I would add that as consumers we also need to take some responsibilty for educating ourselves.

I know someone who is taking this product and I'm afraid for them. It's supposed to be for 14 days to "kick start" weight loss. What happens when you are no longer taking the caffeine? Withdrawl, lack of motiviation and a slump in energy that will have a mental effect.

I'm glad you've brought this up. Hopefully someone who was considering it will see it and change their mind. =D

    Funny! I am shocked and sad that the trainers (well, her) peddle products. I even had to stop watching the show because I was SO tired of the ads for gum, storage containers, etc. Just felt too commercial to me.

Good for you for reading the ingredients and walking away!
