Yesterday I noted the cardio improvement by leaps and bounds. As part of my warm up for the boxing/weights cardio class, we can either run the perimeter, or jump rope.
I jumped rope for 5 minutes straight without feeling labored. I quickly broke an sweat and my heart rate was elevated, but I can only describe it as if the blood flowing through my veins was flowing through smooth glass tubes, not tumbling and struggling over rocks.
I felt like a well oiled machine.
