Here we go again.....

Thursday, July 14, 2011

In the last few months I have lost over 40 pounds without trying.
I went to several doctors and they said that they are not sure what the problem was.... Now here it is 4 Months later and I am starting to gain SOME
weight back ( I really didn't look very healthy at 158 lbs) and they STILL don't know what the problem was. Just goes to show you, Doctors are HUMAN, like everone else , and they DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!!

I went to weigh myself today, and I stepped on the scales and they said
202 lbs...So I took off my shirt and stepped back on the scales and read....
200..... so I stripped even more (Down to skivvies!) and stepped on the scales once more.... 198...and thats what I was looking for! (could'nt strip much more off extra weight) Just goes to show, I am not a number on a scale, but I still want the scale to say what I want it to.......

I like to shower in the mornings so I can shower without the help of my babies. I weight myself then because I usually haven't ate and am already undressed. I think it makes a difference. Congrats!

So true! I make it a point to weigh myself with my shoes on and my clothes on, just because most people aren't seein me naked, so why should I weigh myself that way. WTG being below 200 in your skivvies! emoticon

Crazy Times

Sunday, September 27, 2009

I got home from work early on Friday (for once), and as I walked in the door, the phone was ringing....I heard "Help, My car died in Shelbyville (20 minutes away) Come and find me, I bought a bike from a flea market, and am trying to bike home..and my cell phone is dying" ....Needless to say, I got back in my truck and started toward Shelbyville, and found my wife (Jenifireharp) about a third of the way home, picked her up, went home and picked up our 8 yr old from school, and went back for the car. The battery cable needed changing, (so is and easy fix). All the while, Jennifer kept laughing, saying "What else can go wrong?" That is the "Never give up, never surrender" attitude that makes her so special...
