So today is Day #3 on my diet and fitness plan here on SP. The last two days have not been difficult at all, but I was really hungry today. I was just at home today with no errands to run or anything and I think that made it harder. I have found that as much as I don't like to admit it, I eat when I am bored. I don't eat a lot at once, but I'll keep going back to the kitchen every hour or so looking for a snack when I'm home all day. So today I didn't have any "impulse snacking" but it was hard to resist! And then after all my battles with that this afternoon, my husband called on the way home and said that he was starving and didn't want for me to make dinner so he was going to stop at Carl's Jr. I almost said "grab a western bacon cheeseburger for me" I mean that would have been the easy thing to do, but I told him to just get food for himself and the kids and I would eat something at home. He then calls me while in the drive-thru to tell me something important and then proceeds to say that they have a new Kentucky Bourbon Six Dollar Burger and reads off the ingredients on the poster. I hung up on him at onion straws, LOL. When he got home he apologized and said that he forgot that I was dieting.
My son Tommy was really good today and my husband wanted some Sweet Tarts so we took a walk to the liquor store for some candy as a reward for Tommy. I got a Caramello bar for myself and only ate one small square and put the rest in a ziplock for another day. That was a small victory as I really almost talked myself into eating at least half of it, but I didn't!!
So long story short, I am doing really well today and am staying on my diet, but it's been a little tough. I ate only a piece of chicken for dinner and I still have 372-722 calories left according to my Nutrition Tracker. I am about to head out to the treadmill in the garage for my workout, so I guess I will have a protein bar and a glass of milk beforehand, that should get me about 400 more calories.
