So like I said I have been working evenings 4-5 days a week and I still haven't gotten used to it. My eating schedule is out of whack!!! I can't seem to figure it out yet but I am working on it. Any suggestions to help are welcome!

Goals this month:

1. Kill my weeds in the back and front yard. My backyard is starting to look like a jungle. :/
2. Lose 5-10 pounds by the end of June.
3. Figure out an eating schedule that will work when I am working.
4. Drink 8 cups water a day
5. Figure out a way to get to the gym even when I am working.

Gonna try using my calendar to help me schedule workouts and meals. Hope it works!

Goals April/May 2014

goals starting now:

1. Go to bed earlier-have not been getting enough sleep!!!
2. Weigh in on Wednesdays
3. Eat One, One, One style
4. Read on a daily basis
5. Get into my hobbies
6. continue going through my garage and sell as much as I can before I have a garage sale
7. have the entire house organized somehow (blogging on this later)
8. Workout 4 -5 days a week. 3 days of weights and 10 min cardio and 2 days of just cardio for 30 minutes
9. get on spark more often than i have been and track everything.
10. potty training a boy, help me :/ ideas and experiences appreciated!
11. goal weight for april 30~ 160
12. goal weight for may 30~150

I was almost at 150 and I don't know what happened. I feel stressed and worn out most of the time and I need to take better care of me. I should take a nap most days as tired as I am but it is the easiest time for me to get things done or just have some peace and quiet. I was talking with my mom on bringing my son who is in his terrible twos right now once a week for a few hours. I think that would help a lot to have just alone time once in a while to do whatever I needed or wanted without any interruptions. My sister in law is getting married in September next year or around then, there will be a family reunion at the end of July and I really want to look my best. I need to stop wishing on things to happen and make them happen because I know that I can do it. I need to stop listening to the voice in my head saying I can't when in fact I can.

This will be the best fit summer in a long time :) Lets do this together friends...

    You have set some good goals for yourself. I do not have kids so I am not the best at giving advice on that end - however, I see some parents that work out with their kids. They push the stroller while they walk/run, or lift weights at home while their kids are playing. Make sure that you are eating well as well, and don't feel ashamed in asking for help from people around you.

    Those are some excellent goals and though it can be tough getting out when you have kids, once you start making a habit of getting you time, it will feel amazing and you will be better for it. Keep pushing. you can do this!

    When my kids were little I hired a neighborhood teenager to come in every afternoon (M-F) and I would leave and go for a walk. It was me time! Hang in there. Keep Sparking!

    You can do it! Thank you for the spark mailer! It sounds like you have set some good goals for yourself for the next month and a half. Let's continue to motivate each other! I just got my wisdom teeth out, so my goal is to be off the couch and working out by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.

Sorry to all my supporters I am getting on here to give y'all a quick update. I have sadly been sabotaging my hard work. I know getting on here with the support from y'all helps me. I am my biggest obstacle and I know I can do this. So why do I keep on doing this to myself? I know how to get where I want to be and do the opposite. I didn't want to admit I have gotten off track after doing so well. Will post a goals blog soon.

    We have all fallen off the wagon more times than we can count. It is normal because this journey is not a simple start-end process.
Try to come on SP even when you have not done your best - other will inspire you, and hopefully motivate you. The reason for coming here is to give and receive encouragement - you do not have to be perfect.

One, One, One! My thoughts on the book!

First off I am giving full credit to anything that I may actually repeat from the book One, One, One by Rania Batayneh, MPH with Eve Adamson!

I emoticon This book! Obviously I finished it in a week and a day earlier than I set my mind to emoticon It is an easy read and she has some humor put into it- I laughed a couple times! It feels like she is talking to you personally and I love that... To top that off I had a couple questions for her and she replied to me on twitter:

I was considering doing the 1:1:1 accelerated which is more strict but still flexible in some ways... she told me to follow the diagram and if it took me to that one then that's the one for me. I told her it took me to the regular 1:1:1 so I am sticking to that for now. She said it will give balance to my diet and I will feel more satisfied without being deprived and she is right!

My question was about should I still have both my snacks if I have it out of schedule: I asked her about the snack because the order is Breakfast, Mid-morning Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack and Dinner... you are suppose to have a snack before your workout and eat afterwords but you could break it up like this: 1/2 breakfast before and 1/2 after or 1:1:1 snack and breakfast after. If working out in the evening you could eat half your dinner before and the other half when you are done but no snack after dinner. I did this yesterday and it worked out well!

She also recommended YogaGlo to me when I told her I was looking for a good 45 minute yoga workout because you also want to balance your workouts in even amounts throughout the week. My schedule is in the previous blog that I will try next week.

Needless to say she is one awesome lady!

I first read about her book in my magazine Womans World... Cover says "Better than Lap-Band" and you can eat what you want... with a strategy! I tried it from the magazine first and lost 3 pounds the first week I tried this. So I decided to buy this book! You basically go off the label of what food you buy. One serving of a Carb, Fat, and Protein at every meal and 1/2 a serving as a snack. 1:1:1!

The magazine might still be available in some places...

I have been trying to track everything in my tracker so if you want to see what I have been typically eating you should check it out :) you don't have to give anything and I mean ANYTHING up.(Unless prescribed by a doctor!) It's Awesome! I still had my occasional snickers, I had my cake and ate it too!!! two different days. I am down about 10 pounds now and I can't wait to keep going :)

She also tells you how to balance stress, Living in the real world, and eating out(you still order what you want)!

I recommend this book so highly! It is very inspirational and moving to me. It's simple and effective! There are some food lists you could use for ideas!

Her recipes look appetizing and I will let you know how they turn out when I try them!

Melissa West beginner yoga 101- she has a ton of other free videos on YouTube as well! I am going to start with hers next week 2 times a week. I also noticed they have some videos I want to try on spark as well! My workout schedule will change to this instead of my original February goals plan:

If you haven't read my February goals I hope you check it out :)

Sunday- 45 min cardio at gym
Monday- 45 min legs and arms with weights at gym
Tuesday-45 minutes Yoga at home
Wednesday-45 minute cardio at gym
Thursday-45 min Yoga at home
Friday- 45 min abs with trainer then back with weights at gym
Saturday- rest

At least gonna give this a try. Needed to add a stretching exercise so this is what I have come up with :)

I can do this!
