Antique Roadshow

I got an invitation the other day to come to the Antique Roadshow. However the catch is that they only take so many invitations for any place and any time and they don't determine it by first come first serve but by a lottery type of drawing. I do hope they pull my name of the pool they have for Texas. I didn't have an address for my DD but that's OK. I'm entered at least. I have a few things I'd like to take there and just to be on the show is great. My DD said she'd take me. Hope

Mom's birthday

I've got some good pictures I need to download later after I find the cord to put it on my computer. However Mom really liked the cake and tea and coffee party we had downstairs in the apt. building. A few showed up for it and I made a homemade chocolate cake made with splenda and cocoa not the carob powder. It was pretty tasty considering. Everyone seemed to like it. I put icing on 1/2 of it and the other by itself for the diabetics in the building. It was her 90th birthday. Hope

I'm really loving our weather right now. It's been in the 60's for the past 2 days and its not due to go down til tonight. Still it won't be too far down and then its back up again next week. Wonderful weather especially for people who go out in it for any length of time. Thank you God for blessing us right now. Hope

I don't always understand why sometimes I'm not so lucky and then other times I do get lucky. I guess I should just thank my lucky stars. We have a local channel that offers prizes each day. It is on channel 12. If you are the 12th caller then you win the prize. Its really hard to do but I manage to do it when I least expect it. Today I won the prize they were offering at the end of the year. It was $25.00 worth of scratch off tickets. They don't offer them that much. Everyone was calling in. I feel so blessed. I don't know yet if I won anything but even so I feel lucky just to win them. I can also enter them in the second chance drawing they are having next month for a chance at $15,000. Not that would be something. LOL Hope
