Ok, so before ya'll look at my food tracker and freak out, I just want to say that I have decided to be the guinea pig for ya'll (mighty nice of me, huh). I have been researching this big breakfast thing and decided to give it a whirl! The basic concept is to eat a huge breakfast (including dessert if you want it!! Yay!) and then consume your regular healthy meal plan for the remainder of the day. Supposedly it boosts your metabolism and you lose more weight! :) I have read the books and looked over the trials and it seems to be for real. I am going to try it for a month and see how it goes. Normally, I only have cereal or oatmeal with fruit, usually not more that 300 calories total for breakfast, but today's breakfast was a whopping 521 calories (although I did not have a dessert)! I had McDonald's today, but I am going to try and prepare some of the meal suggestions that I found in the books and see how it works! I have heard before that the time of day that you eat certain foods can affect your weight loss, so it is worth a shot. Might also curb those sweet cravings later in the day! Wish me luck! It can't be any worse than the pig-out session that I started out with this week! :)
