Good morning my spark friends! I am very happy to be home and slowly returning to my normal routine. Unfortunately, the scale was not kind to me. Apparently, after all that walking (sweating and more sweating) while on vacation, I still managed to gain back 4 pounds!! I am not exaggerating the sweating either, there were days when sweat was literally rolling down the back of my legs! And I really did not splurge and eat a bunch of bad things. Granted most of it was park food, processed and probably high in salt, and I had more bread than I normally consume in a week, but I did eat healthy snacks and did not consume more food than I would have at home. I must confess though, I did have three Mai Tai's at the poolside bar on day three. :) I just couldn't resist! But, I began experiencing some massive swelling of the feet and ankles the last two days we were there, which I just figured was from all the standing and being on my feet for long periods of time (baby girl #2 was also swelling). But I woke up this morning with my feet still puffed up like a water buffalo! Hopefully, the swelling will go down as I return to my regular diet today. :( It's weird, because my clothes felt looser and I do not feel 'fatter' (I am sure you all know what I mean by that), but the scale does not lie!
I have lost 1" on my waist, 2" on my hips and 2" on my thighs! :)
