Walk walk walk....

I'm back! I have exercised every day this week, either on the treadmill and machines at the gym I joined, or at home with the walking dvd's I finally bought (Leslie Sansone) Now if I can just KEEP IT UP.

Wow, I started slipping on Sept 16, didn't get back on track for 2 weeks??? How quickly it passes!! I had no idea until I looked at my previous blogs!

Well finally...A day, a complete day, with which I am well satisfied! I stayed within my calorie range (barely, but that's okay), I drank my water, I didn't do strength training but I did walk 5 1/2 miles and jogged another 1 1/2 ! Wow, I am now 11 miles closer to my Missouri virtual challenge!!

Thanks, everyone (most of whom I don't even know!) who has been so supportive of me and helped me get back in the game!

It sounds like you "enjoyed your vacation" and are ready to "get back to work!" Congrats on having such a great day back - you did A LOT!

Keep up the great work, and keep moving forward after these little breaks, and you will definitely get to your goals!

    I am glad 9/29 was a good day for you! I hope I can make myself start getting up to walk or jog this week. Q--Can I just start jogging or do you only do it after you have walked a while?

A new day....

So trouble on day 5 just grew and grew and grew! But I think this week I can get myself on track. I have joined a virtual walking group AND set up a challenge for some friends outside the group, too, that I think might actually be more fun, so I think I will be much more motivated to work harder at my walking. I hurt my foot jogging so didn't do well this week. I am going to stick to walking for a while!!

So I guess tomorrow will be DAY ONE again. Both my friends have lost 3 pounds and I am not doing anything....and I am not going to be the leftover fat one in the group! So....here I go...again!

    I think I am starting again too. I put on 2.5 lbs in the last week - how'd that happen? Don't worry, I know exactly how that happened. Don't worry about not losing, just put the bad days behind you and start again.

Trouble on day 5!!

Well day 5 did me in...I fell off the wagon! I WON'T outline all the things I did wrong, but it was NOT just my daughter's birthday cake that I was determined to make Friday and she wanted today. (tomorrow is her birthday, and she will be away, until Friday night). Well, it WAS yummy. But tomorrow is weigh day and I think I did myself in. It was bad, really bad. Fun but bad.

On a brighter note, I did walk a mile and jog a mile this morning, so it's not ALL bad, and tomorrow is a new day!!

    Oh no! I'm reading that you had trouble on Day 5 and then... NOTHING! Are you doing okay? Don't let this discourage you! You had a bad eating day but it sounded like you had a GREAT workout day.

You can do this! Kick those pounds off!

    I have a feeling I am going to EAT OUT BIG tomorrow so don't let day 5 get you down!! I never exercise, as I work 2 jobs...in fact I have to start a topic on it cuz that's my weakness, lack of excercise.

You are allowed to be imperfect; after all, you're not God.

Day 4 already!

Day 3 was good...no sugar! I did NOT walk :-( and I did indulge in tortilla chips and had trouble figuring out my nutrition info from dinner at the local mexican restaurant, but I guessed. And I felt I made good choices there.

On to Day 4...yay! I'm doing it! emoticon
