After falling off the band wagon for the last 3 months or so I've decided to start back at it today! Weight loss seemed so easy from January to July and then it seemed like I hit a plateau. I stopped losing weight, suffered from a sprained knee twice, stopped working out, and started eating way too many calories. I lost sight of my goal. I gained 7 pounds back. I think I've managed to get in the mind frame that I need to go back to the basics and start over. My goal is to lose 17 pounds by the first of the year. If I make this goal I will have lost 45 pounds total and will reach be at my half way point for my final weight loss goal. How will I accomplish this? Well, my game plan is to drop my calories from 1500 to 1400/day for the next two weeks and get in 4 days of working out. If this still doesn't allow me to lose 2lbs/week, I will further drop my calories down to no less than 1200 calories/day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can loose the 2lbs/week at the 1400 calorie mark. Wish me luck!
