Fell off the wagon and into the hole!

Oh my goodness!
Did I ever fall off the wagon. I was doing so well for a couple of weeks then I got really sick. I never ever get sick and this put me down. Then my son got strep then my other son got pneumonia. During this period I didn't work out and I binged on food. I still feel like binging. I feel so out of control. I feel like I am so far of track that what is the point. BUT I have set my running shoes out and am planning to get up early to go to the gym. I have to start somewhere. I have read that getting back on track is taking one healthy step, then another, then another and so on. I am going to try that.
I hope you all are doing great. I am going to resume where I was on the skinny day challenge or maybe I should just start over. I don't know. I will have to think about that one.

Getting up extra early for a workout

On the days my hubby is home I have been getting up extra early (4:30) to get in a workout before the kids even know I have been gone. It is so nice, gym not crowded and I can check workout off my list for the day. HOWEVER, I seem like I am so hungry and eat more because I get up so much earlier. Does that make any sense? Frustrating! So I technically have approximately 250 calories left in my nutrition tracker today and wondering if I should eat something healthy before bed. My stomach just feels so empty. The hot tea is helping slightly.
If you read my blog yesterday you know I forgot to do my daily skinny jean challenge and vowed to do it today. Happy to report that I did it. It was a 5 minute butt workout. Ouch!
Feeling strong but HUNGRY!!!

    So my healthy snack unfortunately turned into 2 fun size bags of m&m's and 2 chips ahoy cookies. Sad to report this put me over my calories by 150. All other numbers in range. I guess I should have tackled the hunger earlier before my blood sugar dropped too low.

Forgot To Do My Daily Challenge. Darn it!

Quick entry tonight:
Cardio=lots and lots of chores around the house and up and down stairs. I try and move as quick as I can when doing all this in hopes of burning more calories and bonus of getting chores finished quicker.
Nutrition logged and stayed within all my ranges.
Totally forgot about the Skinny Jeans Daily Challenge until now. It is a 5 minute butt workout which I will tackle tomorrow. Is that bad?

    No! It sounds like you had a full busy day with lots of exercise. Just start over and do the challenge tomorrow.

My daily challenge with Countdown to 30 days Skinny Jeans was to eat at least one of 18-100 calorie filling snacks. I chose one and it was a hard boiled egg with salt, pepper and paprika. The others looked delicious but I didn't have all the ingredients.
My cardio was Ms. Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1. As always she got my heart rate up for some good fat burn.
I stayed within in all my nutritional ranges. I made our family favorite turkey tacos tonight. I chose to eat mine without cheese and limited myself to 1 tbsp. of sour cream. I was also able to indulge in a little sweet treat at the end of the night. It sure hit the spot.

Countdown to 30 Day Skinny Jeans Daily Challenge WORKING!!!

I have been periodically clicking on the 30 Day Skinny Jean Daily Challenge with no success however, within the last hour it started working. So yay to our SP IT peeps for finally getting it to work! That being said I was able to complete my daily challenge of the Skinny Jeans Workout which consisted of toning exercises to shape up your lower body.
I woke up at 4:30 today and headed to the gym for an hour on the Elliptical and a few abdominal machines. I love getting the workout done first thing. Just nice all the way around. Work out finished and just starts the day on a positive spin.
However, burning that many calories I was hungry all day long and had to really work at what I was eating to keep from making bad food choices. I did great. Stayed within all my nutritional ranges.
