Today is a good start to a successful week. Started the day off with 20 minutes on the treadmill and then weight lifting tonight with the legs. I will succeed.

New year and time to get with the program!

I just have to say, that I am finally tired of feeling the way I have been feeling and ready to feel like I did in 2009! Over the last 2 years, I have gained 45 lbs back and it is crazy! I am ready to train again for marathons and get healthy. I don't want to be the couch potato any more and I want to be the mom who is active with her children! It will happen this year and I have people behind me supporting me 100%.

Week 2 and still a little rocky, but lost 2 lbs!

Hey everyone!

I got on the scale yesterday and lost 2 lbs! Woo Hoo! I have to say giving up the Pepsi has been the hardest, especially when everyone around me drinks the pepsi also! I hung in there though so that I would succeed! I am so excited about the weight watchers program and starting some new workouts from beachbody.com! Our town is doing another Biggest Loser contest and I am entering! The first weigh in is 1 week from today! I really want to lose 40 lbs in the 6 month contes! Well, have a great day everyone!

    It is possible to lose 40 lbs in 6 months, but remember to take it slowly and focus more on eating healthy and working out, then on how much weight you want to lose and it will start to melt off! Also, I don't know how much Weight Watchers focuses on how much sodium you take in, but I have found since I started tracking mine, the body fat has been coming out tremendously! I have to say that the diets I tried before, never did that! So you might want to use the Nutrition Tracker on SP too because it is wonderful! 1 Week In and not a great start, but hanging in there!

Hello everyone,

One week in as of yesterday and not such a great start. I had a tooth extracted on Thursday and it really put me out for the weekend and on top of that I didn't eat well. What a disappointment for starting off. But today is a new day and I started weight watchers points plus program. I am excited to start this program and to see how this is going to work for me! I am also gearing up for a heavy race season! This year is the 10th anniversay for the Deadwood Michelson Trail Marathon and my husband I think is going to run with me! I am so excited! I want to beat my very first run time for that race of 2:05 for half marathon. So I just better kick it in gear!

First Day Back and Feeling every bit of the past year!

So, today is my first day back to a healthy lifestyle and boy do I feel it! It was so hard to get out of bed this morning, but so happy that I made that decision to do so. I am working on having a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life, not just for one year! I made that mistake and won't make it again. I want to be an example for my children that being healthy is a lifestyle and it takes work and dedication! I want to set new PR's this year in my races and want to run more races this year to help keep me on track. My business is very successful now, and now my health has to be the same without losing focus on everything in my life! Looking forward to a great 2011 and a new great life! Thank you to all my spark friends who have kept in touch with me and I am back people with a vengence! I can and will do this!
