Day 3 - plyo xt???what?

i figured out really quickly he meant legs..
LOTS and LOTS of lunges and squats.

not gonna lie.. there was about 5 minutes in the middle of this workout where i thought to myself.. SCREW THIS i cant do it :(
but it is one of the harder workouts and my Tapout coach coaxed me back into giving it my all, even if my all wasnt going as fast as everyone else. and im glad i did :)
drenched in sweat and couldnt be happier :)
well.. maybe if i had a pizza right now i would be a little happier lol :P

breakfast: special k bar, 10 ritz crackers..i know. :/
lunch: half a hot dog and an asian chicken salad YUM
Dinner: banana and greens shake w/ agave nectar.

Day 2

So I did my day 2 today! Strength and force upper, ultimate abs
these are my two weakest areas so i was whining, but i pushed through, and i did try my hardest to motivate myself, as well as listen to my Tapout coach :) I can tell im gonna be hurtin tomorrow, which is what i want. 88 more days left, and 8 more days left till my first benchmark.
I cant give up! i'm happy that my attitude is still positive. even though my body hasnt caught up yet. and i know its going to be awhile until my body does catch up. Cant give up.
normally when i do a work out program, im always telling myself i cant do it..i cant do it. but this time..i CAN do it :D

i'm eating healthy too.
breakfast: pear/banana/clementine smoothie
snack: handful of raw organic almonds
lunch: santa fe salad, no cheese no tortilla strips.
Dinner:spinach/mixed spring greens/banana/agave nectar smoothie
a handful of granola to munch on
a spoonful of peanut butter for dinner.

my introduction/ Day 1

My name is Sarah, i'm 21, married, a college student, a server, and mommy to a 1.5 yr old sweet and stubborn pitbull named Theo. ANYWAYS. I started the Tapout XT workout today because the whole going to the gym a couple times a week is not cutting it for me.
- always have had a little extra somethin in the lower abs / belly area...always.
- my metabolism has slowed down, even though i eat pretty healthy (i'm a health food freak! and i love learning about it)
- i want to confidently wear my clothes and bathing suit
- every wife wants to look sexy for her hubs :D
- YOLO , i wanna be hot!
- health, strength, flexibility (GOAL: splits)

if you have similar goals, lets encourage each other! i'm down for that. this is my first blog. btw. so this may need some getting used to.

Day 1 of Tapout
They mean it when they say "earned with sweat" i felt like every part of my body, especially my abs were getting out toxins. I had to take a couple 30 second breaks, and find ways to make my house comfortable to work out in. but i got a great lower back, ab, and arm work out. i have a feeling that my arms are going to look ripped after this. im so weak in my upper body and abs so it was truly a challenge. im happy to report that i did complete the GRINDER! :D big smile on my face. for those of you who dont know what that is, its 10 wide armed push ups, 10 jump ins (bring your feet in with a burst and then go back to plank), 9 tricep push ups, 9 jump ins, 8 wide armed... and so on until you reach 1! and it took me like.. awhile but i got through it!!! and i'm very proud. The instructor seems to really care about the people at home trying their hardest at this, which i love. Im gonna need it. i took before pics so maybe i'll post those someday. i also want to post videos someday too. but for now this is good :)
