Sometimes I wonder about the way I feel I have to live. I work full time in a busy, competitive environment at a job that entails sitting for hours in front of a computer screen.
From September through April or, sometimes, July, I also take courses to complete my Bachelor's degree. That, of course, also means long hours of sitting in class, reading and writing at home.
There just isn't much space for movement in this lifestyle, so I really appreciate July and August, when I actually have time to stop, think, track, follow a program and get moving.
I started this program months ago but wasn't able to give it (me) the time it requires. I couldn't even keep up with reading the numerous emails I received each day. I even added pounds instead of losing!
Over the last two weeks, though, since things have settled down a little, I have managed to keep up reasonably well. The result? 7 lbs. gone! That's motivating!
So I'm keeping on, bit by bit, day by day. I hope to do like the inspiring people who went from unhealthy sizes to feeling great, physically and emotionally.
Now... where did I put those dumbells?
