It's Monday...

Id like to say the start of a new week but I consider Thursday the start of my week as Wednesday is my weigh in day. Make sense?

The plan today is to spend a couple hours working out... get some laundry done and make a nice dinner. Oh gotta go vote today as our federal election is today and I need to hit costco as well.... and if I can find another 20 minutes in there I need to give my bathroom a top to bottom fast clean.

WOWO! emoticon I CAN DO IT!

I am also starting the Spring Bootcamp today.... and working on getting 45 points worth of challenge in for my BLC16 Ninja team....

I CAN DO IT! Right?

RIGHT!

I try to practice "the Secret" and "the Power" in my daily life.

I like the message that these readings give....

I have both books on my Ipod and I listen to them as frequently as I can. When I am feeling grumpy. When I do strength training at the gym, on my cardio cool downs and stretching... in the car when I am alone. (my family thinks they are hokey)

I like to LISTEN to these books rather than read them because I feel that the message is embedded deeper into my brain.

Practice being a positive influence in your own life! YOU DESERVE IT!

    I really enjoyed reading your blog. I like the message that those readings are saying as well, especially the one about not expecting others to behave the way that you want, so you can be happy. I think that one is hard to do, and it is is great reminder that we alone control our own happiness and it is our choice. Thanks for sharing these.

Sitting here enjoying the absolute peace .... we are out in Lopez Washington, all the family is right now out for a walk on the beach... we had a great day!

For me it started out early, I can't sleep much past 6am anymore... so Up I got and enjoyed my oatmeal and a cuppa joe along with my book for a while. Then I took off for a morning run while the rest of the family got themselves out of bed and breakfasted up. This afternoon we went for a short hike about 30 minutes and enjoyed the beautiful scenery Lopez Island has to offer and even spied a few seals venturing out for some herring.

Late afternoon I enjoyed a siesta with my book while my hubby made dinner... spiral ham without the glaze, stir fry veggies and roasted potatoes ( i didn't indulge in the potatoes.)

Now... everyone is out beachcombing and Im just chillin with my last glass of wine for the night. I say last cause Im over my calories for the day by a couple hundred and I don't want to go any farther with that.

Yesterday was a very POOR eating day, totally indulged and didn't spark or think about much that went in my mouth. Big ass hamburger at lunch and ALLLLLLL the french fries... BAD BAD BAD! emoticon

So I am trying very hard to stay on track for the rest of the weekend. I did however pick up some beautiful HOT Cross buns for tomorrows Easter Breakfast that I am goin to partake in eating because they are my favorite Easter tradition.

Praying that it doesn't rain tomorrow... also praying that I have the gumption to kick myself out to the curb for a run if it doesn't.

I do have to pat myself on the back though, I have so NOT indulged in any chocolate ... no easter goodies per say.... my favorites are the Mini Eggs... the candy coated ones with the chocolate inside , they come in a purple bag... I have had only 3 since they have come out on the store shelves AND I tracked them... 3 SINGLE EGGS ... TRULY they are my absolute FAVORITE candy aside from regular GOOD chocolate. So Yeah me for that!

Really trying to keep track of my foods for the rest of the weekend... we get home Tuesday night and weigh in is on Wednesday.... Im praying for a status quo! Bummed because I won't be able to participate in my Last Chance Workout Challenge on Tuesday because we are going to be travelling all day... but such is life.... stuff happens when your busy making other plans hey?

    oh cadbury mini eggs mmm. I put some on the cake but never had a single one to eat. Sounds like you did well overall emoticon we have to live too or what's the point of all this? Iwonder about the weigh in wednesday too but I have hardly done a thing to encourage weight loss this week except be careful with my intake. So here's hoping we both do well!

R = Release your stress through 20 min. of meditation, deep-breathing, or simple relaxation (read a book, watch TV, take a bubble bath, simply sit and enjoy some quiet time, etc.) (5pts.)

Sunday Sparkin!

So..... I went over on my calories yesterday... but only by a little... Im not too worried about it actually.

My Sunday so far has been lovely, breakfast out with the family and they had healthy options at the restaurant so my breaky was only 270 calories. Yippeee! I didn't even look at any other parts of the menu actually.


Im planning on sparkin around for an hour and then finishing up some things I need to do for work tomorrow and THEN my youngest has swim team practice so while she is doin that I am gonna hit the gym.

We are having left over indian food for dinner tonight but again, not too worried about the calorie count as my exercise has been full on this past week.

I joined the streaker challenge in my BLC16 challenge and that is to exercise 6 days a week throughout the 12 weeks. I have been doing that so far....

My day off this week will be Tuesday UNFORTUNATELY because I have a 10 hour day at work that day, 730-530 and then it is the opening of my daughters Shakespeare play , Midsummers night dream and in between the start of the play and the end of my work day I need to pick up some flowers to present her with at the end of the play.

I say Unfortunately because Tuesdays is usually a big exercise push day.... my LAST CHANCE WORKOUT before weigh in... so that day I will be undeniably careful in my calorie counting for sure!

So.... the plan for the next couple of days is..... big workout this afternoon..... tomorrow some cardio and then a Yoga flow class.... Tuesday off from working out.... Wednesday ... cardio and a Yoga strength class..... and to watch the calorie counting extra close Monday and Tuesday.

Saturday morning push....

Yesterday was a great day Spark wise and otherwise!

I stayed within calorie range and I got in all the fitness minutes I could manage and I logged it all!

Im off to the gym this morning to get my big push of FM in early so I can have the rest of the day.

I have some errands to run and kids have music lessons, need to take oldest daughter out shoe and bra shopping to wear with her grad dress.... and I have a ton of paperwork to slog through for work... I chose to skip doing paperwork yesterday at work and run out to the gym in the afternoon so I have to make up those hours here at home this weekend, which is fine by me it worked out so much better for me being able to do that.
Wish I could do that every day!

Got my blackberry with the Spark ap with me today so I can log in food anywhere I go so Im good to go for the day!

Ok... off and running... gotta find a water bottle.
