I have an arthitic knee, long ago injury and "runner's knee." I had stopped running years ago at the onset of my inital injury. I did, however, get back to jogging after doing a bit in bootcamp. My knees hurt, I took Aleve and tried to pace myself. The lighter I am the easier it becomes and the less my knees hurt in general! WOOHOO! I do a couple 10K races a year and a few miles a week in addition to whatever other workout I'm doing. I ran my one and only half marathon last October and decided I didn't like jogging THAT MUCH!
