Be Still and Listen

As the new year starts I have been thinking about what I need to do to make this a productive and successful year. It's amazing that when I get still and just listen, the answer will usually be given to me. Consistency is the word that continues to appear. I had been noticing it a lot and then I received a message on my Spark Page and what was it on? Yep, that's right. Consistency!! What affirmation. I am going to take that and run with it.

Hope you are staying with the "CONSISTENCY" concept. It is a great word for us in our exercise and other health choices.

Fun Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend with my youngest daughter and our Boxer. We went to a local military park and my daughter rode her bike. Mia (our boxer) and I walked the 7 miles around the park. We started out with her pulling me and ended up with me pulling her. But it was great exercise and I felt so much better for doing it. My shins are killing me today but it just lets me know that I need to keep walking consistently. The weather was finally beautiful.

    WOOHOO! Sounds like you had a great time and are doing great. Don't forget to stretch after that long a walk. It may help the shins.

A New Day

Today is a new day and I have planned out my long term and short term health goals. I have defined weight goals, nutrition goals and overall health goals. I have a small one that I want to meet by June 15th. I will be posting my journey.

    Good luck! I love goal setting because it gives me a master plan to follow. Any time I'm feeling a bit lost, I can go back to the plan and know that I'm heading in the right direction.
