Had a good day today. Pain when I walked this morning, really gimpy. But we walked, then I got a bit done around, and had a shower and went to physio. What a workout, from 1:20 till 3. granted 15 ice, 10 heat but whew. She got me to do 2 more exercises and two were hard. One was the wobble board ( similar to the wave anjay) and then just stand with butt to wall and slide my leg out along wall about 3 inches and man that was hard for me. I was even sweating. Also take belt type item and pull my leg behind to my butt. also gave me one for my back after telling her I can't get down. whew but good.
Just finished making vanilla cake gluten free, will see how this went lol Have to get used to the diff textures of baked items, but smells good. Hope it is as want to share with our friends that we are going to meet, We have known them for years and it was her birthday yesterday so will take some if it is good.
Also have chili in the crockpot for overnight. Only made a small one as it will mostly be for me.
Okay off to get ready for bed. I didnt do my exercises as she said I had done plenty. Tomorrow as soon as I bring allie back I will get them done so I will ahve time before we go in the car, not sure if that was what happened on way to sil the other day or not, but don't want a repeat of that pain.

I SLEPT!!!! like that commercial finally I slept for 7 hrs last night. Also got 3 hrs in a row, unheard of for me lately.
So today going to Atlantic Fabrics going to finally make some curtains for the kitchen and perhaps some for dining room and put the lace panel under the new ones. DD is going to go with me after then are done their errands.
For now going to tidy up the ktichen and figure some menus. Not a busy day but a good day. Pain isn't even that bad today, oh yea forgot. lol Have to go do my exercises NOW even before I do the kitchen. So far 2x day everyday.
Cya gotta do them NOW.

Dads assesment was 2 hrs but we weren't called down or asked. I did go down to get laundry out of the dryer and she said hi and he introduced me. But that was it, so not sure what he will get or even be able to apply for. We will find out some after she sends in the paper work.
Didn't do a lot today, we got groceries, did my exericses, some laundry, walked dog a few times, and now going to go exercise and then go bed. Even though it said i got more sleep, I know it wasn't good as I remember waking so much and just so tired today. Pain started about 4 am so that wasn't good.
Highlight of my day was a notice from sparkpeole that my page had been chosen as sspark people motivator! WOW what an honour and wasn't sure what ever for. I want to thank all the spark friends that have clicked on that link on our pages and made that possible. makes me want to do even better. HUGS and what great friends you all are, I can't imagine I would have still been here had I not made such great supportive friends.

HI all, had a pretty good day today, Had to wait nearly 20 mins to get into my physio apt which was absurd, don't schedule so many at once and give a bit more one on one. anywaaaaaay. lol
She was very complete in questions asked and listening. then she got me to lay on my back with ice, and heat on my knee with it up in one of those triangle wedges for 15 mins. came back and did a lot of holding my heel and pressing on my knee, and pushing my knee down till it was tight in back of calf. Actually hurt but felt good if that make sense.
Told her I am scare of surg. cos so weak and how bad my back is and to do the pre surg. ex. hurts my back, can only imagine when my knee hurts 100 tmes more. she said we will work on core, and legs and you will get stronger.
She gave me 3 exercise to do 2x day at home. I was talking to the receptionist who is my age and said worried to go to physio cos then if I get a call for surg. have no physio left. Anyway. will go once a week for bit then will learn it all and go less and hope that this works.
I also asked about wanting to do upper strength said do any that dont hurt and or don't lean forward at all or back too far. So okay will try again.
Also told hubby I am holding him accountable to make me do these 2x day lol he said not me, I said yea cos if I dont the recovery will be worse and way longer and you dont want that any more than I do. lol
besides my back is so sore, I only want to get it better as it can.
Okay off to get the dishes done and lol go do my exercises.
