Busy, Busy, Busy!!

I decided that since my week has been so busy and I couldn't possibly fit it all in my statusso I thought that I would just post a blog about it!!!!

Wow this week has been busy. Our family has had a birthday everyday this week!!! Tuesday my mother-in-law Pam started off our week of birthdays. My Aunt Ellen was on Wednesday. My sister-in-law Heidi was yesterday. And Today is my little baby Morgan's first birthday. I can't believe that this year has flown by. She is such a blessing and a joy. And we still have 3 bithdays left in this month (mine is included in that).

Yesterday I woke up and got on the scale and finally saw my 30 lb weight loss appear on the scale. It seems like these last few pounds have taken forever!!! I am so glad to finally have it be gone. Note-If you have any suggestions on plateau busters, please give me all the advice that you have, I need help to get the scale to keep moving!!!

Also on another note, I am excited that we bought a new car this week. We needed something a bit bigger and I am excited to finally have a new van. Never thought that I would be excited about having a minivan, but I am!!!

    It was a busy week for you with all those wonderful celebrations and your new van! Isn't it funny how us moms get excited about a van? It sure helps with the kiddos though!! Yippee on your 30 pounds away! Susie is right when she said to shake up your routine a bit to shock your body again. If you can, add a little bit more cardio. Happy birthday to your baby and to you!!

    Losing during a week of birthdays -- that gets a WooHoo! Happy birthday to Morgan! Try changing up exercise routine, or varying your daily calorie count (don't let your body think it needs to hold on to every calorie!)

New shirts!!!

I bought new t-shirts yesterday. I am happy to say I am into a Large and they are not tight!!!!! At one point I was into extra Large and they were tight. I probably could have been into a 2x. I am also fitting into a size 12 jean with room to spare. It is a beautiful thing!!! I just thought that I would share!!! Still working towards my 30, but I am so very close!!!! Hoping that I can get there soon. Cheers to new t-shirts and loose jeans!!!

20 lbs!!!

I have to share that I am now down by 20 lbs!!! It is exciting for me to reach this point. A month and a half ago, I was stuck. It didn't seem like the scale was moving at all. But perserverence, good encouragement from my sparkfriends and hubby, and answered prayers have pushed me on. It is God's grace that helped me to keep moving on and it seems like I am moving in the right direction. 10 lbs until 30 and I want that off by Christmas!!! Keep praying me forward towards that 30 lbs. Thank you all of my sparkfriends!!!

15 lbs

I have finally done it!!! I have finally lost my 15 lbs. I know that I have a lot more to go, but this morning when I needed a bit of motivation there it was on the scale staring straight back up at me!!! 15lbs are finally gone!!!! I am so glad!!! My next goal is 30lbs by Christmas (leaving for Disney World on the 27th and I would like new clothes and great pictures)!!! Please be praying for me about making this new goal.     Celebrating with you on those 15 pounds gone and away!! Woo Hoo! That is worthy of three cheers for you! So if you want to lose another 15 pounds by Dec. 27, does that work out to be about 1 pound a week? Keep up the good choices and exercises; you can do it!!

Burn Baby Burn!!!

Before when I went to the gym I relied on the machine to tell me how much I was burning. It did work, I did burn. But I recently bought a heart rate monitor watch that I wear when I workout. I also looked up the heart rate that I am supposed to be in and make sure that my heart rate is in that zone all of the time that I am exercising. My heart rate monitor tells me my heart rate and then at the end it tells me how many calories I have burned. I have been burning 400-550 calories every time I work out, as opposed to 300 calories every time. I don't think that you have to buy a heart rate monitor, but I do think that you should look up the zone that you are supposed to be in and strive to be in that zone. I think it is really important to burning more additional calories.     I try to get more cardio in to burn extra calories; like aerobics and running. That seems to help in the belly area to help shrink that.
