First Weigh In

Ok so I gained .6 lbs UGH! Ok how in the world???

But to be honest I didn't follow the plan and I didn't plan for success. This last week I was in and out of my house and working and school...so if you want to be successful you have to be prepared and I ....wasn't :-( So here I am again starting week two with renewed strength.

Thanks Lizzie for your encouragement.

I know that I can do this....just one step at a time..and if I fall..get right back up and try again....

    It sucks that your up, but look on the bright side.. its only .6 lbs. I'm sure next week you will lose that and then some!! Try keeping a little note book with you to jot down what you're eating when your not home. Seeing it written down will detour you from picking up something else to eat when you have the munchies. Also, that way later on you can calculate your points when you have a few minutes. Did you get a points calculator from them? if not check out eBay for one. i believe i picked on up for like 5 or so bucks.

First Week with Weight Watchers

Ok at the suggestion of my doctor she recommended I try weight watchers to help me re-define how I look at quantities of food etc. So I am doing it. It's my first week and I weigh in tomororw. Let's see what the scale says then. I'm doing ok. I am finding that preparation and planning is HUGE in the success of weight loss. I must plan better. :-)

Keep you up to date. I hope my breaker buddy is doing good and staying strong!

    Weight Watchers is awesome!! I did it for a bit last year before i found out that i was pregnant, and it definately worked! I was going to pick it back up this time around, but i miss placed my calculator and food dictionary. Plus, with being home all the time with Maddie, its much easier for me to just use SP to log my food, rather than a notebook. I hope that it works wonders for you!! i know you are a strong woman. Just remember Im here for support!! emoticon

Doing good

Yesterday I did my first 20 min mile. I know I know but that's better than the 30 min miles I was doing. So I must be doing something right. I am busy right now with school and work. Will write more later.....

It's been a minute..I've been studying for a midterm and it's been crazy busy. I can't believe it. I just joined weight watchers at work hoping to get some extra motivation and help on portion control. It's a 12 week session and I'm looking forward to it. Found another walking buddy right here at work. We are both in the same boat weight wise and have much weight to drop. I'm looking forward to re-educating myself on healthier eating habits. I'm walking more and using the stairs more.

It's late....

it's late and I realized I haven't been on here for a minute...i can't believe how I lose track of time....I haven't been hard core as I should be. My boyfriend reminded me (nicely of course) that in order to see results I gotta get down and dirty and sweat! So from tomorrow forward I'm making a stronger effort and will make a promise to come on sparks to track my work outs.
