I learned something today. We make hamburgers about once a week and buy whatever is on sale. Well, I bought 20% fat hamburgers, never really thinking too much about the calories.
I researched the calories in the size hamburgers that I made and I was ASTOUNDED at how many..just for the meat alone, not counting the bun or anything else! I won't be making this mistake again...too bad I didn't research it before eating dinner!
Oh well, like I said, I have learned something. When we have hamburgers again I will get the very lean ground beef. You can save yourself half of the calories by doing that.
Needless to say, I went way over my calories for the day from this meal...I won't make that mistake again. I can thank SP for encouraging me to research this kind of thing, something I've never done before.
