Ugh. Yes I know not the best way to start a blog but I did something not 'right bright' as my grandmother used to say. So I have this desire for bologna (I know yhew), but when I was younger we used to fry it and it was so good. I get to the store and I see that bologna is on sale for $1. So I grab it without even looking at the packaging except to check the expiration date. What is so bad is my other foods I took time check the nutritional facts. I even compared items and put stuff back. So why on earth did I buy something soley on price?
I fixed two slices of the junk today. Yes you read right...junk. I couldn't even eat it all because it was way too salty and tasted just bad. So I'm entering food on the tracker and finally I check the back and one 1 lousy slice it's jam packed with 540 mg of sodium!
If anything this was a reminder lesson to read packaging for all. I'm glad I only paid $1 because I will not be eating anymore of this stuff. I wouldn't even feel right giving it away. If I ever have a bologna crave I'm just going to have to say leave what is in the past in the past.
