Week one done on the 17 day diet , GREAT RESULTS

SOOOOOOO I am down 9.6 pounds on my first week of the 17 day diet , absolutely loving this diet , I am not feeling hungry at all , it is very easy to follow , continuing on :)

Upset this weekend

So , Friday morning , my ex boyfriend passed away , so I haven't really been here the past couple days . Even though he was my ex we have been in touch for the last year , and we were good friends . I spent two years of my life with him , so right now my heart is breaking for his family (who still treat me like family , I even drew a picture for them and am sending it tomorrow ) Shredders , sorry I haven't been here , I know I am the team leader , but it was really hard for me to concentrate on anything this weekend , and I will be back on The Shred tomorrow . I am still eating healthy , I just didn't want to think about anything this weekend . Still upset today , lucky to have such an understanding husband , but I loved this man , and I was going to marry him , and although that didn't happen , I never hated him , he had problems that were beyond my control . He had a heart attack a few weeks ago , and open heart surgery last week . He weighed nearly 500 lbs when he died ( he had gained a lot of weight since I left him in 2006 ) .
I want to honor him by losing this weight ( a chance he will never get ) and by living a healthy vibrant life .
Back on the wagon tomorrow .

    Sorry for your loss! I love that you are using this as extra incentive to lose weight! Similar to my friend that lost her sister to heart disease, she is so motivated to exercise and eat healthier. That has even made a difference in her daughters' lives. I'm glad that you are taking a tough situation and turning it into something good! *Hugs*

week three of The Shred STARVING

This liquid diet does not agree with me , I feel like I am progressing , but I am SO FREAKIN HUNGRY . I am not the kind of person who likes to drink her calories , cant wait until next week when I can eat more regular food . 5 more days , 5 more days , I have to keep saying it to myself ..

    add to that the fact that I am type two diabetic , I start feeling lightheaded , that means my bs is low , and I have to eat something this week is not agreeing with me .

    I am starving on the protein shakes I had 18 glasses of water yesterday next cycle I am skipping week three , all I end up doing is getting something to eat , I feel as if I am depriving myself really close to skipping ahead to week 4 , I cannot live on a liquid diet .

    I was that way as well. I think it helps that I drink 14 glasses of water a day. I think I get hungrier when I drink fruit smoothies, that is why I prefer the protein shakes more.

New A1c results !!!

So I got my latest bloodwork results back yesterday My A1C was 5.5 , and my 3 month blood sugar average was 111 .
My doctor says he is considering me prediabetic or borderline diabetic , guess you can reverse it with diet and exercise :)
