This is from my window, just before starting my daily run tonight. I start from and arrive back here every day.
So, I promised the goals for the 2011 Spring 5% Challenge.
Here they are:
My SP goals for 7th May - 2nd July 2011:
1. Track my food every day.
- Even, if I eat more than my calorie budget, I will track every single item.
- If I don't have internet access, I jot down to my copybook, and enter items later to SP.
2. 10 min exercise every day.
- As for running, get on my running shoes and clothes, get out down to the square, and then decide if to run or not. I can come back, but then do push ups, situps, or a SP video exercise inside, still in my running gear.
- If I travel, I bring my running gear with me (shoes, trousers, t-shirt, jumper, cap, phone+headphones).
3. Blog about my sparklife at least 3 times a week.
- Read blogs of team members at least 3 times a week, and leave at least a thumbsup in comments.
- If I will be offline for more then a week, I write about the past days the latest the 2nd day I am back on-line.
If I don't keep my goals, please, let me know!

I was thinking about what should be the new habit I do this week and write about each day.
Then I thought, I just get out to run, and I will think about it during my daily run.
And I realized, this should be the habit that each day I get dressed for running, go out, and make a few steps.
Because I started to run - or rather do 10 min exercise each day - only two weeks ago, on Tue 27th April 2011. I have been doing it since then, every day. I even went out to run last Wednesday and Thursday at 00:30 am, when I was in Krefeld, Germany on a business trip; and because our trials got very long, plus we had business dinner, I got to my hotel room very late at midnight. Even Endomondo registered my workout for the next day, so Wednesday look all alone empty in the workout calendar. The impulse came on 27th by reading the call from SparkGuy, to join him for a 1000 day streak of 10 min exercise each day. I found this idea so funny, I had to join. So, I am doing exercise since then, now for two weeks, and I think I'll do all this week, too, each day.
But, although I did it every day, it is not a habit yet.
So, this will be my new, a bit old, but still new habit for this week. 10 min exercise each day.
As for the goals, I think I need to run a bit more.

My Nokia N8 phone makes pictures everywhere I go. I love the quality of the pictures, and it's a bargain for $370 at amazon.

I got so motivated yesterday by reading the blogs and comments of my Daisy friends and in SP.
Today, I think I had one of my healthiest days in 2011.
I made a two hour ride to Weiz, a town nearby (34 km).
I had great resistance before the workout, taking out my bike, pumping up, getting the clothing, fill up the water, and then to ride.
So I said to myself, "let's just make it until I sit in the saddle, and then I decide if I still want to go".
Then I found myself on bike road R11. First, I did just a few kms, then a bit more, then I have seen the sign "Weiz 7km". So let's get there! When back, Endomondo clocked exactly 2:00:10 on my phone. We also get the max airmiles for the Daisy team!
For dinner, I think, I made my first ever own prepared healthy meal for myself. Or maybe meal in general. It is simple, and fast, but maybe this is why I finally made it. I used the olives and tomatoes that I bought yesterday.
I have tracked all my food today, 1847 kcal (limit 1870).
The 8 glasses of water are in.
I've slept 8 hours.

I got excited to read the spring challenge to loose 5% some time ago, and I am happy finally this day is here, the start.
Starting weight is 86.5 kg (190 lbs).
In the afternoon I had a great workout in the spring sun, again exploring new terrains around Gleisdorf (Austria). First a 1km walk, then a 4 km run, then a 2 km walk. I only wanted to do a 10 min run, but somehow, I got into it again.
Then a trip to Interspar, and my fridge is full with stock: green onions, radishes, tomatoes, olives, green paprika, low calories cheese, low calorie ham and sausages, 99 kcal/pot yogurt snacks and chocolate pudding snacks, low fat milk, coca cola light, fruit cocktail snacks of 50 kcal, and lots of low cal Philadelphia cream cheese, and finally a pangasius fish for the freezer.
I also populated my fruit corner of the kitchen with banana, apples, oranges, and carrots.
I even found an ice cream snack of 24 kcal/cup.
I'm still hungry. My daily calorie range tops at 1870, and I am already at 1791 kcal. So I just drink a glass of water, and better go to sleep, before I snack.
