There comes a point

Friday, October 10, 2014

There comes a point in your weight loss journey where you have accumulated enough losses that you cannot undo your progress overnight, in a week or two and maybe even months. I am not perfect but I am strong and determined. It feels so good that I can go on vacation and indulge a little and not have to worry about going back to square 1. Life is life it has its ups and downs. So, coast through the rough patches and accelerate on the good roads. We will all get there one by one in our own time and at our own pace. emoticon

Octobers Goals

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

So the last time I hit a major milestone under 200lbs I stayed the in that range (203 197) for about 1 year and went up and down past 200 then back up 9 times before I moved past it. No weight loss goal for me in October. I would like to break that pattern and slowly creepy away from the official WW 100lb mark. I have an accountability partner who is keeping me on track with tracking. I have set up a WO schedule for the month. Id like a break from the scale and just do what I am supposed to and creep away from the 100 mark. I need to work on a lot of mental stuff right now and break the pattern.

Karen, whatever we need to do to feel better or improve ourselves, do it! Our well-being comes first, otherwise we can't function well for our dear ones. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for sharing the podcast. It was so good to hear your voice. We don't usually get to really know our fellow teammates, but now I feel like I know you personally.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! It is hard to be married sometimes, but it is so worth the effort when you are married to the RIGHT person!

Congrats on today's run. I look forward to hearing all about your Hawaiian trip when you go to that run.......

You are a WINNER in my book!

A speed bump not a road block

Saturday, September 06, 2014

I have been 100 % OP for 4 days!! I was trying carb cycling and hit officially 100lbs down with WW last week. It sent me off the rails into out of control eating and a gain of 5lbs. I decided that I would not let this go any further. I am keeping it simple. Stay in points eat what you want. The added pressure of the 100lbs and carb cycling through me over the edge. LESSON: keep it simple and enjoy your food stay OP. Let go of the past, make today a winner!

emoticon When I tend to do more than my mind and body can stand, then I flunk. If I keep it simple and enjoy the process, then there's success, even if it's little by little. No hurry, but keeping it straight.

So glad you're knowing yourself and making the necessary adjustments to keep-on your already successful health journey.
