SparkCoach asked me to make my meal plant for tomorow, so here I go . . .

Friday, July 05, 2013

Just in case you read this I came of my plato and I have reached my goal weight of 70 kg for nearly a week now.
My home work for today is to make a meal plant for tomorrow and to blog about it:
I always plan my meals just before I start to prepare to go to bed.
1. I think about what is coming up tomorrow and check what is available in the fridge and I take out any frozen items that I need to use the next day.
2. Make a list of items I need to buy.
3. Prepare the coffee maker for to be ready in the morning for breakfast.
4. Choose my breakfast and set it up for the morning.
5. Set the table and that is it. I am off to bed.
Good night you all! emoticon

Do you ever miss the spontaneity of waking up in the morning and thinking "Gee, this would be a great day for pancakes!"

Congrats on reaching your goal weight.

I want to get off this plato!

Sunday, June 16, 2013

I am getting discouraged with my self. I want to loose 2kg. but I don't? Who is the boss anyways? Each time I get close to my target, next day I do something stupid to sabotage my self. Why I do this I just can't figure out, YET!
What I am afraid of? What if I reach my goal? Those my world change? Am I afraid that I will not be able to blame any of my short coming on the fact that I am 2kg over my goal?
OH, heck too much mental gymnastics! emoticon

Plateaus are a fact of my life too! I think hormones play a role in this and you just can't be good all the time so just keep going. That's what I do. Slowly does it!!!

Sympathize with your struggle. I realize that I have been leaving items of my food journal. I guess I just don't want to give up some foods. Good luck in your journey

You can do it, mix your diet up and log and keep on track and up your water and exercise and why not give the scale a break for a week ? also take some measurements and use that as well.

Actually, it sounds like you already know the answer.
Now, the question is-- what are you gonna do about it.
You can overcome doubt and fear of success if that's what's holding you back.

Changes? What Changes?

I always eat at the top of my calorie range and I am very happy when I don't go over it. Now my
'SparkCoach' ask me to experience eating at a different rage. Well it will be hard but I will try.
I am better experimenting doing more or les exercises to keep my weight in line.
I would like to hear how it is working for some of you?
I need to lose 2kg (4.4lbs), however no way!

I am in a good mood and feeling healthy but I want to loose 2kg.
Why, because two years ago I weighed 70kg and it felt good.
I start to think of it that I am not reasonable about this and I should aim in maintaining my present weight at 72kg.

Thanks for spending time to support me.

I'm usually pushing the upper limits of my range too, but have gradually moved to healthier choices for those calories. Not seeing any scale progress, but definitely notice a better mood and more zip.

I always ate at the bottom of my range and had hit a plateau; Spark Coach suggested eating more and guess what, it worked. I have now reached my goal rate. Give it a try, they do know what they are talking about. Just leave out about 100 calories a day from where you will least miss it such as from a beverage or use a little less salad dressing.

I am on 'the plato'.

But starting today I am coming down!
I been weighing 73 kg + for over 10 month and been trying to get down to 70 kg with out any success, so I am switching to the 'Plato Busting Program' with SparkCoach. I will faith fully follow the program by measuring my food portions and tracking my fitness minutes. I been doing it before but I did not bother measuring very carefully or accurately so here I go.
We will see how it will turn out.
If any one have any pointers for me on this program please let me know?

What is in it for ME?

What is my main motivator?
It is definitely my health! With out my health there is very few things that I would able to do that I am so fond of doing now. Most of my activities require that I keep my self physically fit, like hiking, biking and canoeing. I also need to garden and do chores around our home.
Keeping up with my friends also is a grate motivator: we are all getting old and we don't want to be the first one who can not party any more or give up a chance to see a sunrise and the moon at the same time on the mountain top !
Eating the right foods and doing regular exercising the best way I know how and the "Spark people" helps me to keep going in the right direction! Where were they when I was younger!!!
Any ways it is never to late to look after your self.
