What is my main motivator?
It is definitely my health! With out my health there is very few things that I would able to do that I am so fond of doing now. Most of my activities require that I keep my self physically fit, like hiking, biking and canoeing. I also need to garden and do chores around our home.
Keeping up with my friends also is a grate motivator: we are all getting old and we don't want to be the first one who can not party any more or give up a chance to see a sunrise and the moon at the same time on the mountain top !
Eating the right foods and doing regular exercising the best way I know how and the "Spark people" helps me to keep going in the right direction! Where were they when I was younger!!!
Any ways it is never to late to look after your self.

I am happier since I let my self be not perfect. I am a human being who makes mistakes and that is all right for this is how I learn a lots of things about my self and the world around me.
I do much more things since I don't need to guaranty the perfect out come of the project.
If I would only go hiking when I could guaranty a perfect weather then I would never have seen a rainbow over the mountain. Yes I got soaked a few times but I learned to take a rain close with me even when the morning is sunny.
Yes I will thrive to be a good human being but I don't need to be perfect for it!

My goal is to get down to 70kg, but I been bouncing up and down between 72 and 73kg, nearly a year. My weight, two years ago was 70kg, after my open heart surgery and I sort of promised my self to keep it there. Well it is not happening. I am close but not 70.
Well, maybe my ideal weight is 72kg? I feel strong, pretty healthy, considering a few miner flaws, so I toying with the idea to except 72kg as my 'ideal weight'?
Well I will think about it and when I know, I will let you know. If you care.

And mean while enjoy, every day is a gift!

No I am not bulking up but I don't dread going up that steep hill getting back home. I used to, but lately I had a chance viewing the houses and the landscaping around them and saying hello to the people around me as I peddle up that "hill". Honest, it used to be very, very hard going up that hill.

My weight has hardly went down and I been trying to loose 2kg for 5 month or so and I am not closer to my goal now than I was before. BUT I AM GETTING STRONGER! Hay my balance is getting better, I don't have to get off my bike to go through the bicycle baffles any more. (I hope I don't run into them today!)

I tried to put a bike picture on this blog - but?

emoticon Today is my rest day from exercising, I feel free with out pressure that I must do some work. No I just going to relax.
The past week went pretty well my way and I accomplished most of the things that I set out to do. This does not happen very often with me, so I should be celebrating. I am going to reward my self by buying a digital camera, like I been want to do for a long time. This is it. Soon you will see more pictures of my journeys.
