Note to my self:

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

It is Christmas Day, I am taking some time for my self to be peaceful and enjoy the good feeling of Christmas. It takes some effort and the thought of Christmas makes me melancholy for I miss some of the people of past Christmases, some of them just alive in my memory. It feels good to be with them now and then.
Merry Christmas to you all.

How to roll with the punches?

Sunday, December 16, 2012

When things go smoothly I am in control of my healthy living however when something exiting happens, good or not so good I go haywire, Christmas is one of them. My organised life falls apart and for a while I loose sight of the big picture and concentrate on the little things around me.
Instead of using my head and the tools to keep on track I put off the important things in my life and do what ever is easier to do. Not necessarily working to wards my goals and dreams.
When things calms down then I start again picking up the pieces and setting priorities, it feels that I am going around and around. I would like to go from A to B instead of A to A all the times! I would like to see B some times. Oh well it is not so bad seeing what is between A and A.
Just venting! Thing are getting hectic!

Merry Christmas to you all.

I need to take time to figure out what is my goal, now!

Thursday, November 15, 2012

It is so hard to pin down what is my goal beside keeping my self healthy. For the last two years I been working hard to recover from my heart operation, I really worked hard at it and now I am managed to be in pretty good health. I also improved my fitness and now I should be able to do what I used to love doing? Canoeing, skiing and playing table tennis. Beside doing sport I also spend time with my family and friends. However I have a hard time to dream up something to shoot for. A BIG GOAL.
A Big Goal that I can dream about and work towards reaching it. I am 71 years old and I don't have to reach my goal but I thing I should find one to move toward?

One of my biggest goals for this year is to walk/jog 625 miles (1000 kilometers). It's one of those things that have keep me on walking/joggin even when I don't want to do any other exercise... I'm almost there just 3.6 miles away to conquer it, and I feel really happy.

Hope you find a goal that helps you stay motivated.
