Changing my running schedule.

Saturday, June 07, 2014

I been running 4-5 days per week for I was training for a half marathon, however that now it is over I am cutting back to 3 times per week. I read it some where that you should not run more than 3 times per week if you are over 70. I feel a bit guilty that I don't run as often as I used to so I ride my bike more often to compensate for it.
I would like to hear from some one the prose and cons of how many times per week on older person should run? Mean while I will be running 3 time per week about 25-30 km. emoticon

How is it going?

Sunday, March 23, 2014

Feel healthy and fit for life, for sure, although I am 4kg short of my weight that I have set out about five years ago. My BMI is 23.7 which is in a healthy range, so things are going my way.
Getting old but enjoying life just the same. I believe that every day is a gift and so I try to live it to the fullest.

Getting older is mandatory, getting old is voluntary. Sounds to me like you are older but not old.

How I am doing?

Monday, March 03, 2014

Well I manage to keep my weight the same for the last 3 month 3kg short of my goal weight. I guess it is called a Plato. It feels ok but some how I would like to be 70kg instead of 73kg.
My BMI number is 23.4 so perhaps I just be contented with what I have? Why 70 instead of 73? 73 is so much easier.
