Today was such a hectic and exhausting day. When I finally got home, I sat down and started looking things up on the internet regarding information on pregnancy and trying to concieve (ttc). What I found was disheartening. Growing up I had a very irregular period and to avoid the irregualrities I started using birth control. I was told that using birth control would help my overall body get used to a regular flow. Now that I am off of it, I was hoping it would fix my period like I was told, but after my first month off of bc I was 8 days late and it only lasted 2 days. This month I started tracking my BBT and I don't even think I'm ovulating!!! I am lost and my DH is doing all he can to keep my mind off this topic....BUT all I've ever thought about was having kids, so to stop now is like asking me to stop breathing!!!! To top it off, many of my friends are starting to have families without even trying. I can't help it, but I'm happy for them as well as jealous. Today just sucks =(

Back to School

I'm back from my spring break and I have started off with a bang! I went on a jog for 20 minutes during my lunch break and then later came home to ride my bike as my dog ran beside me. He is tired and I feel great! My goal is to jog during my lunch break 3-4 times a week. I think this will help 1) my energy level when I come home from work, 2) keep my dog in shape and 3) get me back into shape.

This is the start of a new chapter. I can do this =)

Lunch Time Goal

Now that I have a new teaching schedule, my prep starts when lunch ends and goes until school is out. I realized that with me not seeing students after lunch, I can use my lunch time to go running. So now when I get home, I can include my dog in my extra workout and I won't feel too guilty if I do not workout when I get home.

I hope this will help me reach my goal!

Im currently on vacation and not staying completely on track...I havent been drinking as much water, and have been around MORE alcoholic beverages. I have been super good thus far. All I have had is two beers and two vodka-crans. I know that I could easily say no, but every once in awhile I slip up. I am hoping that my slip-ups are fewer and further between.

I went shopping and I am just waiting for my clothes to fit better as well as increase my self esteem/confidence in my body. I don't care about being a size 2 or anything, but I do care about feeling good about me. This day will come!

I now have more of a reason to push myself. I want to start this new chapter with a bang and to do that I need to take care of my body. I am hopeful that this will keep me on track and help me reach my goals!!! I know I can do this =)
