I'm currently training for my 3rd half-marathon and I've noticed that the day that I run I don't eat a lot. On the other hand the days that I do workout (rest days) I tend to eat more. I'm not sure why that is. I've altered what I eat and how often. I'm sure this has something to do with it.

    Thanks! I like to eat after working out but he'd rather eat before and try to work off what he He's trying, that's all that matters.

    I think everyone is different. My bf can't eat for a couple of hours after working out and I on the other hand find myself famished. Congrats on the third half marathon!

My boyfriend loves me not matter what size I am but I have worked hard to be where I'm at. I love my current size but when I eat healthy, he eats healthy. It's amazing how things work when you prepare all the meals. He's finally accepted the fact that if I'm cooking and doing the shopping then he's going to eat healthy. emoticon

New Years Resolution

I don't look at them as resolutions. I look at them as goals that I want to achieve before the year is over. A key is to make your goals attainable and by doing so I reach many of my goals.

Definition of a S.M.A.R.T. Goal:

Specific: What exactly are we are we shooting for?
Measurable: Can we use a tool, like a scale or timer?
Attainable: Are there any obstacles that need to be considered that might compromise your success?
Realistic: Have others enjoyed the success of your particular goal?
Timely: Anticipate your WIN by putting this on your calendar!

    My goals for this year are to complete 2 half-marathons and run several smaller races. Also, to get my boyfriend to start working out and get in shape. In hope that we will get married sometime soon.
