So for the past couple weeks I have let my team down and not been as active in challenges and for the past two days I haven't even posted. Well I want to say I am sorry. emoticon While it was my intention to keep up a good diet and do the challenges I am having a hard time hanging in there right now I am going to clinical three days a week and working so basically I have left clincal and gone to work-i don't get home until after 11:30 and I am just tired and have to get back up at five....So this wednesday and this thursday my diet has consisted of fast food and whatever they have at work and it sucks. I am so mad at myself....luckily today clinical was cancelled and I am making a promise to myself and my team to finish this BLC challenge and get back up and eat right again, Make better choices when I am eating on the go and to attempt to maintain my sanity until I can slow down and get back to a real work out :)

So our challenge this week is to drink half our weight in ounces of water (130 for me) I have been doing it everyday so far but it is so hard. I don't know if anyone else is struggling but I drink and drink then I go and go and go. I swear I haven't gone to the bathroom this much ever lol. I fill up my water bottle six times a day and mark my water on my marker board. I only drink about half of the last bottle because it puts me at 130 but has anyone else doing this challenge been getting up at night because of it? I must say i am certainly hydrated but so sick of water lol .
as a side note I wanted to say that on this challenge we should all be aware of water intoxication. so don't drink more than 48ounces in an hour! or about 2quarts a day. I don't think anyone will do the daily amount but hourly we may run a risk because at meals i do sometimes drink two bottles of water at 20 oz each so just to put it out there to be aware of ....

    OMG, I share your sentiments! Sometimes I feel like I'm going to float away! Yes, be VERY careful about water intoxication. If you get some extra exercise in, that should help too because you'll be sweating some of it out.

    Good point about the water intoxication! This is a really tough challenge, though I do feel like it's paying off. I need about 108 ounces - and the only easy way to get it in is if I do a morning workout and can knock out 30 oz or so before I leave for work. Otherwise, yeah, my sleep starts to suffer! :)

    I agree that this is a tough challenge. I have to get at least 104 oz. I also thought about water intoxication. We should be careful with this one. I get up at least once to use the bathroom since starting this challenge, but part of the problem is I wait too late to finish up my last20 oz..... :/

These are all the reasons i want to lose weight one for each pound :)

124 reasons why :
1. To feel better in general
2. Because I hate being obese
3. I no longer want to become winded running up two flights of stairs
4. For my husband
5. For my daughter
6. To be able to keep up with the kids running around
7. To avoid getting type 2 diabetes
8. To avoid hypertension
9. Because I am uncomfortable in my own skin
10. To like the way I look even better(hopefully a lot better)
11. For my PCOS
12. To increase chances of conceiving a baby someday
13. To be able to shop in the misses section of the store
14. To be able to wear fun clothing from brands I used to like
15. Because I will be so hot in skinny jeans when I lose weight
16. To be satisfied with less
17. So my little girl can hug me all the way
18. Because I want to live to see my grandchildren
19. Because I want to wear a cute bathing suit
20. To fit on all the roller coasters at the amusement park
21. To not have to worry if I will fit into something like the rides, or desks etc
22. To run with my dog
23. To ride a horse
24. To be able to work better, fit into smaller spaces
25. To be a good example for my daughter and nieces
26. So my queen size bed feels big enough again
27. So I am not tired all the time
28. Because I donít want to be able to wear my husbandís clothing

TO my near future self:

I hope that you are weighing in around 250, and feeling really good about all that. has been accomplished. It feels really great to be hydrated and exercising regularly. I am happy to just drive past the fast food and cook a healthy meal at home. Not only in dieting but I am happy because I am making it through my program and doing well. I am gaining a better understanding of nursing and nutrition which helps my nursing skills. I am becoming a better me and learning so much and utilizing all my knowdelge. I am happy, healthier, and looking a little less fluffy. I can't wait to see you in four short weeks!

My Uniform doesn't fit!!!

So I really haven't noticed much difference in my weight, but today I went to put on my scrubs for clinical and they are too big! I am so happy to get to move down a size. It is such a good feeling to really see the results outside of the scale. emoticon

    I know the feeling. I put on my skinny jeans today that I bought not too long ago and they were falling off. I hadn't worn them cause they were a little tight. It's great to finally see the results. Keep up the good work.

    I have had the same thing all this year. I am down 2 dress sizes but almost no weight. But I look and feel 100% better, so that is what matters! Keep it up! emoticon
