    I heard daily you should drink half of your weight (in ounces) of water. Don't know how correct this is, but I like to think it's right!

I don't how how secretive this article is, I mean if you eat well then you can expect to gain benefits from it. If we eat like crap we should not really be surprised what happens...yet we do time and time again.

I am not sure this is going to really open anyones eyes per say but maybe it will be the one last push some of us need to make some changes, who knows.. I try not to judge things too much, if it sounds interesting then someone else might find it interesting.

For me personally I have to find a balance between what I WANT to eat and what I should be eating. I know its there I just don't push myself to find it...its so much easier to eat the stuff that tastes good and is unhealthy for us then to do the work to make something nutritious and healthy...well I say WE...but I mean ME *chuckles* if I want to implement real changes I need to find a way to make this happen, well any of us who want this change need to.

A decent little article, I always love reading what food can "do" for us. I rather look at this article like I do everything else, we are all different so what might work for some might not for all. Never hurts to have info though, plus you can always do your own little science experiment with yourself :)
its fun and easy and you don't need to have a degree to do so, people might tell you that but don't listen to them, look at me I do mostly what I want and I turn out ok..most of the time *grins* It's your life, I say you do what you want with it, as long as its positive and not hurting anyone else.

Im gonna go hydrate myself with some chocolate milk, no its ok the article said so :D

    Thanks so much for this! I went home last night & had a pb&j sandwich (on whole wheat of course!). I haven't had milk since I was a kid - psychological since my Ma made us drink the old milk before she'd buy new ("Honestly girls, I don't smell a thing"), and I've hated HATED H A T E D it ever since...

A few years ago my son switched to soy milk only, which I've never even tried. I thought well, if I add chocolate to it, maybe I can deal with it. I tasted it first without the chocolate --- and it was so dreamy, like a milkshake. I did add the chocolate, cuz I'm a chocolate over vanilla kinds girl.... wow. I can have a healthy glass of something besides green tea & H2O. I have a chance at getting my required calcium and all kinds of other stuff, & it feels so good!

Thank you a trillion times. It's amazing the the ways we help each other by Sparking!

Not a bad article, again stuff we already knew but if you are like me I need to hear something about a 1000 times before it sinks in and I use it *chuckles*

I am going to have to start monitoring my sodium intake, I have totally ignored those numbers up until this point but now I am starting to wonder how much of an effect its having on my body. Ill have to investigate and see what I can find out.


Not bad tips, but kinda useless if we don't use them.

    The link doesn't work for me. Says its moved or something like that. Sodium is a big one for me. My bp is high and thats one of the things they tell you to watch for. I just bought some stuff called "no salt" and it tastes just about like salt. I love it. 0 sodium!
