It's been rainy here the last few days. I got to go out with the family and exercise a few days ago. We all need to loose weight especially my 7 year old... I hope I can change things around, her is my top concern. And for me getting off my blood pressure meds.

    You need to do something at least three times a week to start - and I always get out with the dogs about a half hour before sunrise, when it's cooler, in the summer. It's important to exercise even if you don't lose weight, and losign weight helps with the exercise too.

Just starting

I've been reading the spark book. I started with a bang! But, I ended up being sick for about 3 weeks and I gained the weight back plus a few pounds. I'm starting slow. Yesterday I started feeling bad again. It's kind of discouraging when by the end of the night the world is spinning. And in the morning I feel like a jumping bean. Epliepsy really kicks my butt. The blood pressure meds also do the same. One foot in front of another...

    I'm so sorry that you're struggling! Sometimes it seems that everything is against you. Every time I really committ to something and start an exercise program, somehow I get hurt and have to stop. It's really frustrating but this time I'm really gonna do it no matter what so I'll work through my issues and stay on track. You can do it too - as you said, take it one day at a time and do the right things you can do and they will pay off for you.

    Work with your doctors, and see if they suggest a activity plan, or a physical therapist that may be able to develop a customized plan to meet your needs. The Spark plan is just an outline for it to work you have to do what you can stick to on a daily basis and what your body and time will allow. Continue to take care of yourself. You are doing it keep up the great work. emoticon
