Sticking to the Plan

Why do I find so difficult to stick to any long term plan I make? this does not only pertain to eating a good diet, and exercising to loose weight, but just to about anything else that I want to do.. If the time frame stretches beyond a certain period of time, I just seem to forget about it and move along to something else. I really struggle some days to stick with my exercise plan, but I am doing some activity each day, even if it does not go to 20-30 mins as I planned. emoticon

    It sounds like you are sticking to least you are active every day! I find myself in the same situation. Maybe when you are doing that activity, instead of stopping after a certain time, try to go five more minutes. I tell my students this too -- five minutes isn't a long time, but it makes a difference when you add it up. Five more minutes with food tracking, exercising, cleaning, studying, practicing...set a timer and ONLY do five more. Then six? or ten? I'm preaching to myself too here! :D

Today I didn't do any walking because I had a lot of tidying to be done in the backyard. I also went back to eating the way I should, and I am correcting some of the damage I did yesterday .

Today was not a good day for either exercise or eating healthy.
However I am looking forward to tomorrow when I will gradually correct the errors I have made today. emoticon

Walking 5 days each week

I did't walk today but I exercised on my glider for 15 mins. and used my hand weights for 8 - 10 mins
