Tomorrow, our class at school will hike Mount Cardigan. It's about 3100 feet, with about a 1000 foot vertical rise in about a 1.5 mile trail. I've hiked it many times with my own family, and I've hiked a couple of time with classes in years past. With good weather, it should be a fun hike and just a little challenging for our 5th and 6th graders. I just hope I don't get stuck herding the stragglers!

heehee, on any class hike I ever went on with my kids there were usually more than enough volunteers willing to herd the stragglers. HOpe you had a great day for it! It certainly is pretty up there!
Time to leave the cold of NH behind for a few days!
Actually not a whole lot warmer in Branson at this time of year, but we'll be indoors more and we'll be able to relax without the normal daily pressures. Don't know if we'll have public access to the Internet to keep up with folks or not.
I went to DC the last week of April with my mom. One day we walked like 16 miles. By the end of the week we were both pretty tired. It was a very good trip. We didn't get to see everything, we'll have to go back in a few years.
