I GOT THIS!
Stress is hell, let me tell you in case you didn't know. And I have this bad habit of having what I want, when I want it, simply because I can. Not anymore (at least not when it comes to my health).
Here is what my day of food looks like for tomorrow:

10 a.m.) BREAKFAST:
(consisted of: spinach, kale, carrots, tomatoes, blueberries, banana, jalapeno pepper, wheat germ, flaxseed, chia seeds, oatmeal, cinnamon, 2 pks truvia, whey protein, water). It is almost 1 p.m. and I'm still full!
1 p.m.) SNACK:
2 hard boiled egg whites
Green Smoothie (left some over from breakfast)
4 p.m.) LUNCH:
7 p.m.) DINNER:
10 p.m.) LATE NIGHT SNACK:
Popcorn or Cheetos (the individual bag). Gonna try not to, but if I'm craving it, I'm going to have it.
WATER: At least 7 bottles
GREEN TEA: 5 cups
Exercise: 30 min cardio
And since I HAVE to watch Y&R for the rest of the week because they killed off Chloe & Billy's daughter (Delia), I will do full-body ST during each commercial.
I CAN AND WILL FOLLOW THIS PLAN TO THE LETTER! And I want you guys to hold me accountable, too.
Don't wanna go back here, but that's where I'm headed if I don't STOP letting stress eat at me!
Gotta get back to MY basics
And get back to working with one of these

I cannot nor will I tell you all a lie. I will not say that I have failed, because I haven't, but in hindsight I should not have embarked on this or any journey until after the deadline has passed on another more pressing project. I have a novel due to release in just a few days and I have been crazy writing, etc. So please forgive me for starting something that I could not finish, but I will finish, just at a later date.

Ok, guys today is 8/2/13 and I'm counting this as my day one. I had so many things going on yesterday that I could not even think about my plan, but that's ok, we are allowed to start over and over and over, until we get it right, right?
That being said, I'm about to exercise and I want oatmeal and sunflower seeds for breakfast. I need to get to the market today because I have nothing here that will keep me on track today. But let's at least start the day off right with oatmeal and exercise.

I know, I know...i've not been hanging around these parts a lot lately, so busy with my writing. I am now a published author and let me tell you, it ain't easy! The hours, OMG! Writing, editing, proofing, promoting, formatting, crying...this is a 24/7, 365 days a year job. I wouldn't wish this career on just anyone...unless of course, you're a really good writer.
Although I'm releasing a novel in a few weeks, my next project is a health and fitness guide. Yes, I think I have it down so well, that I can now write about it.
"The" Experiment that I've referenced in my title above, is one that i'm trying out just for me. It's for the month of August and since tomorrow is the first, I thought i'd blog it and challenge myself in the following ways:
1) Protein/Veggies for 3 main meals
2) A fruit with all 3 of my snacks
3) Minimum of 7 hrs sleep/rest each night
4) Cardio exercise 60 minutes per day, can be broken down into 3-20 min shifts
5) 30-minutes of Strength training 3 days a week, Mon, Wed & Fri
6) One treat allowed per day, must be 130 cal or less
7) Log into SparkPeople every day for next 30 days to blog progress
8) 50 squats, 3 times per week
9) No BAD carbs during the week
10) One treat meal on the weekend (either Saturday or Sunday)
11) No eating after 8pm
12) No bread, no white rice
13) No sweet drinks, 1 diet soda allowed per week
14) Five cups green tea
15) Eight bottles of water
16) Absolutely nothing fried
17) Red meat once every other week
Ok, there you have it, "The" Experiment just for me. Anyone interested in joining me, feel free to do so. I will log on each night with my days' progress.
Here's to me for the next 30 days and beyond!
