Day 12 - 2014

NO weigh in today and here's the #1 bad thing to do guys....I waited too late in the day to start eating. I didn't take in a lot of calories, but my eating was not on point. I made my Smoothies for my lunch, well....they're still in the fridge, will have tomorrow.

OK, tons of work to do so I will see you guys tomorrow. Had to get in here because I'm on a log in to SPARK streak and I don't want to break it!

Day 11 - 2014

My eating was on point today! Did not weigh nor did I exercise, but for the most part, stuck to my planned schedule and was very mindful.

This is how I fared today:

1 cup of hot lemon water when I got up

Breakfast: Smoothie (kale, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, banana, pineapple, cinnamon & cayenne pepper)

Snack: 2 boiled egg whites

Lunch: Smoothie (same as above)

Snack: Grapes

Dessert: 4 pieces of Zeppoli from Olive Garden (I typically would have eaten all 8)

Dinner: Brown rice w/homemade ghoulash

Night Snack: red grapes

    You are on a roll!! I have been on point as well even though my scale isn't showing it. I'm not going to let that deter me. My scale will catch up eventually.

Day 10 - 2014

Scale was 180.4. Yep, appetites back!

Today I had:
Breakfast: Oatmeal w/sunflower seeds
Snack: bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal with 2 % milk
Lunch: bowl of my home-made ghoulash w/brown rice
Snack: Cup of coffee w/pack of Truvia and tablespoon of French Vanilla cream
Dinner: bowl of my home-made ghoulash w/brown rice

8 cups of water

Multi-Vitamin
B-12
Iron
Vitamin D

No formal exercise but grocery shopping for 1 hour and a half (which I stocked up on fruits, veggies, non-fat greek yogurt, eggs, OJ, couple of Lean Cuisine meals, water, etc.), and deep house cleaning!

Day 9 - 2014

Have been too busy to pop in here to log my weight and progress, but yep, had an appetite for the first time yesterday and scale was up this morning! But, I knew it would be. Leveling off the coffee, it's just so good to me lately, but I really believe it was killing my appetite. Will be on tomorrow with updates and weigh-in. Thanks guys for stopping by!

    I was on coffee a lot too. I would drink a cup with my oatmeal everyday and when I stopped I had headaches for 3 days. Moderation my dear!!

    I drink two cups of coffee every morning and I am not willing to give them up. But I keep it at no more than two and sometimes it's only one. DH drinks coffee all day long and also eats just one meal a day most days. He says it works for him and won't listen to anyone else. I have given up trying to get him to change.

Good for you on the coffee and yesÖ coffee is an appetite suppressant my husband has a belly on him and he eats 1 meal per day and thatís lunch or dinner, itís rare for him to eat 2 meals. So I say coffee keeps him from eating correctly to lose the weight. His body is in starvation mode for survival, this coffee addition is really putting my husband life in danger, but I canít break him from those cups of coffee. No matter how hard I try to get him to reduce his cups. Itís not working. I address the matter as often as I can, but like his doctor said. I canít live for him, he has to live for himself and stay on these medications to survive. Sad! But I am proud of you for leveling off. Youíre doing great!

Day 5 - 2014

Hello again! Although this weather is cold it is not keeping me from doing what I need to be doing, and that main thing is OVEREATING. I suppose, in a very subtle way, a little of the flu bug is still in my system, because my appetite has been shot to hell. My scale today was 178.6 but I think it's more so because I don't have an appetite right now. My eating is literally down to once a day at this time, and i'm not taking much in even then. I want coffee thru out the day (this is odd, because i've never been a big coffee drinker til this last month....ingesting about 2 cups per day), and then an early dinner.

So, let's hope that when I'm feeling 100% (i'm about 98% now), that my appetite picks back up and I'm on my regular schedule of 6 meals per day. I have had no formal exercise other than the squats i'm doing every morning and the fact that I'm sitting my water bottle in another room so that I will have to walk to get it.

I'm trying to streak with logging in to Spark on time (sometimes midnight sneaks right up on you), but I've been making it.

    You can do this, but definitely wait until you feel better before you try to work out. And don't be surprised if you gain when you start eating again!

    emoticon What time do you have these 2 cups of coffee, and do you feel as if your body is crashing before you have them or canít start without it, and how is your Vitamin B1 ĖB6 ĖB-12 ? Do you take B-12 supplements, or a Complex Vitamin B? I started taking B-12 a few years back and was able to drop the 2 cups of coffee, now if I try to have at least one cup I catch a bad headache, and my husbandÖ. I canít see how he drinks a pot and a half a day. Heís killing himself with coffee. I have to stay on his butt about water. I know your body will level out once you get back to your 100% goodness.
