I have been starving lately as soon as I wake up, I eat a bowl of cereal, oatmeal or yogurt on my way to school. The lounge here is pretty nice and there are always granola bars for the teachers so I grab one on my way in for a mid morning snack.
Lunch is usually a pb n j some fruit and veggies in a bag and then its non stop until I feel comfortable leaving school for the day.
I've been seeing a trainer usually once a week, but this week and last week I made it twice a week! Last night I just skipped the gym all together and ate a steak burger with cheese from Freddys. hah! It tasted amazing!
I plan to get to the gym a good 45 minutes before my training session just for cardio. Burn some of that grease off from those fries!
Good news! My dress fit better! My arms and back look better than they did in the dress back in December. The next time I will try it on for my first fitting will be in September. I guess I have plenty of time to work off those cheat meals ;)
I was about to put in my Visa info when I decided to look further into it. I saw the ad for it while reading an article on SP. Mother's Day is right around the corner and I was super excited to get it for a few family members. Ugh.. I trusted it because it had Dr. Oz on the ad. hah!
I know I can be gullible sometimes.

Not just at night either.. Oh no. It's when I'm at work too! I don't even notice it until I relax. My dentist gave me a tiny pill to take at night time but it makes to hard to get up on time in the morning so dropped that.
Does any one use a mouth guard? I feel like if I were to get one my pillow would be soaked from drool in the morning. hah!
I have been going to LA fitness for a little over a month now. I decided to use some of my income tax return to get myself a personal trainer. Now once a week I HAVE to go to the gym and do strength training for 30 minutes then 20 minutes of cardio afterwards.
The unexpected thing is I WANT TO GO EVERYDAY NOW.
Strength training burns so many calories, unfortunately myfitnesspal/SP only counts cardio. I haven't been weighing myself as often because muscle weighs more than fat. I can tell a difference in my clothes though!
I will go in for my monthly "check in" to see my progress with strength/endurance in various areas as well as inches. (The first day I did 2.5 sit ups) hah!
It was been a roller coaster to realize how weak I let my body get from just not working out!
My mood has been so much better as well. I'm not as agitated with people in traffic or worried about little things at work. It's also been nice to have somewhere to go, people to talk to etc in the evenings as opposed to sitting on the couch flipping channels. I've made a great friend at work who has been a great inspiration as well at the gym!
Also, limiting the number of times I eat out a week has really helped!! Or if I do eat out make sure it has a lot of veggies/protein and hardly, if any, cheese.
I also jogged/walked my first !!!
My feet were bugging me a bit. (joint pain) but afterwards I really felt great. I have been the lead coach for my school's Running Club this year and this was our first event. The kids (first grade- 6th grade) LOVED IT!
Totally pumped because it may just mean I don't have Lupus! (since I never had rashes and some of the other symptoms) I have tried acupuncture for my pain and stiffness in joints and it did my body good. Better results than the plaquanil. I hope to see a doctor that will listen to me explain I have more in common with Fibromaialsia (I know I butchered the spelling!) than Lupus. I have felt like I have the flu these past couple of days with chills and even a little nausea. Kale, banana smoothies and veggies are on my menu!
Thankfully my Fiance is driving up as I type to take care of me!
Oh yeah, last weekend I drove to Galveston to visit my mom and sister (about 5 hrs) and got out of my car walking like a zombie! This is frustrating.
