Sweat everyday in June Challenge

Hello everyone,

I joined a challenge to "Sweat everyday in June" on facebook as part of the I love to run page/ I had my doubts about this at first but now I am seeing how this can work very nicely. It doesn't take that much effort to sweat even if it means just going for a 10-20 minute walk in the afternoon to get your heart rate up for awhile. emoticon
So far I have done two days of this challenge. Yesterday , June 1st I went to the gym, I sweated a lot of the eliptical trainer, then went and used other machines as well. Today I went for a quick walk to the corner store and because it was so humid outside, I sweated again emoticon

    It's been sticky the whole weekend, I see how going for a small walk had you sweating. But it's a fun challenge and one that it will be difficult to fail as weather will become warmer and warmer. Good luck on this =)

Hello everyone!

In my love for going to the gym to exercise, I decided to go everyday last week. I am also really working hard to get down to 135 pounds from 138 pounds so I thought that this intense working out would help me break my plateau.
I enjoyed going after work Monday to Friday for 45 minutes to an hour each time. I alternated between working out my arms and my legs. I really felt like this past week made a huge difference in my fitness level and also helped me get down to 137 pounds and break the plateau.
This week I will go everyday once again because of the success that I had last week. It also helped me keep up my mood because of the endorphins that are released during working out. emoticon

My goal this week from September 24th to September 29th is to get down to 135 pounds :D I would be soo happy if I could do that because I have had the goal of being 135 for so long and even got myself some small gifts if I reached this weight I could open the morning that I weigh this amound :) I will also do this in a bigger way for the 130 pound mark because it is a gift to myself from myself. emoticon

Fitness and weight loss update time!

Hey,

I was at 139 this morning which is good but I would lovee to be at 138 or 137 by this point.
I just got back from the gym and had a good workout focusing on working out my arms and doing cardio.
My goal for the next four weeks is to lose 2 pounds each week by increasing intensity each week at the gym and eating healthier and cleaner.
I have been doing so well so far, and I am loving my body and just don't know how I could live with myself before I started my love for fitness and healhy eating. I look back at my chubby figure and think that thank god I am not that way anymore because it was not attractive.
I will keep going towards my goal and I will soon be at my next goal weight of 135 lbs and recieve my little gifts to myself that I bought quite some time ago :P yay

Today at work my coworker/friend offered me a cupcake as part of the birthday celebrations and I said no thank you because as you all understand here that might not be a good idea for weight loss. Then she proceeded to say "it's just one cupcake" and laughed. Then I had to say that I had some last week for other birthdays and I wanted to take a break.
I just think people shouldn't pressure others to eat sweets, fried foods, or anything bad for that matter. Weight loss is number one for me right now and I wish people would just accept and support that rather than unknowingly try to guilt me into eating more sugar. Just a thought...
:) I didn't eat a cupcake today incase you were wondering.

    You do rock. My husband does this to me! In some weird way, I think he is trying to make me happy by offering me the cookie. I think when people do this, it's because they want to give you something to enjoy.

Weight loss + other people not trying to lose= more challenging.

It has been quite awhile since my last blog post! I weigh 139 now and its a few years later. I am feeling very happy and motivated. I will try very hard this month to get down as much as possible. I am aiming for 130 but if I don't reach it by the end of August it's no big deal as long as I reach it in September :)
I have been going to the gym at least 3 times each week after work or on the weekends. I try to go every other day and in between days I like to go for 30 minute walks. I have been extremely motivated lately which has helped me so much in losing those annoying pounds.
I incorporated greek yogurt into my diet today and really enjoyed it with some blueberries and walnuts. It tasted great.
I have been experimenting with some new gym machines and seeing the results and I would like to get into yoga again!
