My New Life Again

Well, today I am going to try to start over again. I finally lose 2 lbs. but I am still 40 lbs. away from goal. This is the first day of he rest of my life and i'm going to make it with the Lord's help and my stationary bike and bench press. emoticon emoticon

  I bet you need magnesium, it really helps you feel better, sleep better, and great for mood too, so much easier to exercise and stick with healthy foods. At least that is the effect they have on me, they also stop eye & leg twitching or cramps (that's a sign of low magnesium).

GETTING TO IT MY LIFE.

emoticonWell guys, good news. As of last Wednesday I have been eating my oatmeal. It is the first time since I started this diet that I went this long and I don't want to stop. I am even getting up early so I can have it for breakfast and at a decent hour. Eight or nine instead of eleven or twelve. Yes, I'm proud of myself. emoticon

    Good for you girl you know you can jazz up oatmeal anyway. Berries, and sunflower seeds that is my fav. Some almonds crushed, with cinnamon, you can put a little oatmeal in your smoothies. Yummy! I amsure you will have that ole cholesterol saying what hit me what bit me!!.

    We keep hearing how oatmeal is good for lowering cholesterol and not enough about how good it can taste with some fresh fruit and just a bit of honey. I have to remember to have it more often because I do have high cholesterol. Yes, you should be proud of yourself for your sensible food choices. Way to go, and keep it up! emoticon

    Dee, Great job! I'm proud of your achievement, and I am sure you will reap the many benefits of eating a good breakfast (earlier in the morning). I talked to the contractors today and was told that my bedroom should be done by the weekend. I should be able to sleep in my bed on Saturday. God is so good. Only two months on the couch. emoticon

Time To Get Life Back Together

The middle off last week I almost put myself into a DIABETIC COMA. what's that that Quote? STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES. Well stupid started a new Diabetes pill called Janumet. It has like two different kinds of Diabetes meds. in it. I don't know what one was but the other was Metformin 1000 mg.

Well, my sugar was high so I took my new meds and two of my old Glyberide 5 mg. and Metformin 1000 mg. on top of my new med. Janumet. I was bad for about a week or two I am just getting back to normal. Thank God. He is the one that got me out of it.

I was out for about 5 hours and a friend came up and the Lord opened my door for her so she could wake me up. I was on the floor under my computer table.

I am starting to get back to my eating routine today and hopefully my exercise will start back soon.

Like someone said to me "One day at a time". That is what I will have to start.

    Girl I just saw this post. I have not been exercising cause I have a upper chest infection. so I am taking it easy. I hope that you have someone looking over in the flesh. We know Christ is our keeper but a fleshly person would not hurt either. Be careful and keep a check on your blood sugars more regular. Take of yourself girl. Don't make me get my switch emoticon. Take care of yourself there is only one you.

One of my friends on My Space put this as a Bulletin and I stole it.

To true except number 8.

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk,
smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock
if you have to.

3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following
statement, 'My purpose is to __________ today.'

4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less
food that is manufactured in plants.

5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild
Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.

6. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

7. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires,
issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control.
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

8. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner
like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

9. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

10. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

11. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
