I just discovered that I've gained 20 lbs since November. It's more than likely due to quitting smoking and not being able to get up and do much from back surgery. I've also been eating alot during the day since I am at home all the time now. I know I will drop some of the weight when I return to work in maybe April, but It's just hard to stay positive when you are gaining weight. I'm so uncomfortable in my body.
The good thing is I can walk and should walk so I hope that by watching every little thing I put into my mouth and walk, stretch and swim, I should shed a few of those very unwanted pounds.
I just really needed to vent and this is the place I chose to do it.
If you have some suggestions of what I can do to help out, would be appreciated.
I am starting aquatic physical therapy on February 9th and have full access to the YMCA so I am sure there are lots of things there that I can do without hurting myself.
