Hey guys! I just wanted to "publicly" rewards some of my group members for being in the top 3-5 in spark fitness points in my group Gonna Make it Happen.

I want to stop by and say that things are looking up for me!

I feel like I am turning a corner in MANY areas of my life and have become proactive about the issues that have been bothering me (hanging over my head). I have a plan for the future and honestly things are looking up!

I'm stretching or doing yoga daily to help my tight back that's been hurting and running, doing cardio several days.

I'm planning to add back some form of strength every other day because my body REALLY changed when I was doing strength training regularly.

I'm happy and hopeful and right now that is enough. :)

Oh to breathe again...

I've been sick for a while. Got better before my Europe trip... came back, was sick again. Thanks Airport!

I've rested, I'm tired most of the time... but it's time to pull myself together and get myself on track. I'm taking vitamins and surprisingly, exercise makes me feel better and gives me energy!

So tonight, after work... I took a nap. Then, I got up and did 1.5 hours of modest exercise. Spin, treadmill, dance and yoga. At home, at my own pace!

Burned 620+ calories and I'm happy about that. Looking forward to a few pounds off this week. :-D

Still focused on studying and losing weight over the next few weeks/months. Making plans, planning meals, and happy to see some downward movement on the scale!

Still pushing

I am continuing to do my 10,000 steps most days and trying to do morning exercise when I can. My asthma is acting up YET AGAIN which i find incredibly annoying. I am still trying to do 30 mins of exercise daily despite that.

I'm studying for my national exams and have about 27 days left. So... I may be missing for a bit but no worries, I'm still going to work out.

I had an amazing time in Europe! Barcelona, Florence, Rome, Cannes were ALL amazing!!! I'll put some pictures up soon.

:) Oh and I've lost 4 pounds. :) Probably water weight ... but I'll take it!

    If you have lost 4 pounds and are studying, traveling, etc. It probably is NOT water weight, don't discount the efforts you are obviously making. GREAT work to lose while in the midst of a whole lot of challenging situations - including your health.

Sunday Joy!

Today was a good day.

I did more organizing and cleaning. Separated out the jeans/pants that don't fit right now. Filled my drawers with LOVELY clothes that I can wear and enjoy right now today.

Never could find my lost heart rate monitor strap :( So I just sucked it up and decided to buy another one online. I MISS my HRM. I LOVE knowing how many calories I'm burning down to the tee so I can feel like I really accomplished something! :-D

I took my dog for a great 2+ mile walk.

I got over 12,000 steps before 4 pm.

I ate food that I MADE all day and LOTS of fruits veggies today :) I've also pre-prepared the fruits and veggies for my breakfast smoothie. And I'm going to have a salad for lunch + some protein.

Did some grocery shopping for healthy foods... and Got some studying done!

I did eat more calories than I wanted to yet again (maybe it's the prednisone?) either way, no excuses. I'm going to do an extra 30 mins of exercise- that's better than nothing, and then I'm heading to bed early so I can get a good start for the week.

One week until my vacation and I want to have a smooooooth week. Trying to work out some last minute things with the travel agent. Pray for me.
