I've been trying to observe myself along this journey to learn how BEST to achieve my goals and maintain the weight loss.

I've noticed more things...

I don't eat much (in quantity) I usually stop half way full. The issue is that sometime it's high calorie foods so even when I eat HALF it's still more than I need to eat.

I have got to keep working on not eating fast foods. I'm getting better at resisting urges to eat fast food out of convenience but... it takes constant reminders on my part.

I am studying for boards... this will probably be a higher stress time for me so I have to plan ahead and STICK TO MY PLAN

I am going to have to make a meal plan the day before even when I don't feel like it. It's too easy to grab something else, even if I count the calories, and end up eating more than I want...

Also, if I get a craving (which happens when I think "I'd like PfChangs, or mmmm pizza sounds yummy, etc) I will remember that I CAN have the food but NOT if it's not on my plan for the day. I don't have to be this strict forever but I want to see results, so I'm going to do what I have to do.

I used to eat Lean Cuisines ALL the time... but then, I started worrying about the sodium. But, truthfully... they can't be any worse than fast food. I'll go buy some tomorrow.

    Ever since I read a comment by one of the SP coaches that some frozen meals actually are nutritious, I have been using Lean Cuisine meals and Healthy Choice meals. In fact to get enough calories, sometimes I have to supplement them. They are great for someone who doesn't want to take the time to cook a whole meal, plus, I live by myself, so are also very convenient!

I hope you can all check out my blog! I wrote 2 blogs this week. Monday AND Friday. Monday I spilled coffee on myself TWICE! Soaked myself to the panites... pools of coffee in my heels. It was a MESS emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I've been sick all week. Feeling tired and run down, but I've done my best to keep up as much activity as I could considering Its not easy being active in the middle of an asthma attack. I'm on prednisone, antibiotics, inhalers, etc.

Today was a good day though. Starting to feel a little better. Spirits feel renewed. I started a knitting project (going to knit a hat! ).

Came home and decided a workout would make me feel better too so I id 40 mins on the treadmill and 25 mins on the bike. I took it easy because, well, I'm sick. But... I wanted to stay active because I've been eating more with the steroids and I want to at least keep things balanced. When I'm not working I'm resting. Sleeping 8-10 hours a night to help my body heal. AND taking my vitamins!

I'm still on my path to losing 5% body weight AND I go to Europe in 10 days! Excited!

Amazing April! Challenge

Going strong and trying to get better every day.

I've started getting ,y allergy shots again... Which lead to An asthma attack earlier this week and I slept like 14 hours one night, literally, after taking Benadryl for my allergies.

But, I'm taking my meds... Resting when I can and staying active other times.

Yesterday on my lunch break, I came home and did spin and treadmill plus walked the dog for a quick workout.

Today, I went running outside then when the pollen got to be too much, I finished in the gym on their treadmill. I think I did 2.5 miles or so

AND I just finished another mile and a half. :)

So I worked out twice today! Fit bit says I burned 850 calls or so

Time to study and sleep, good night!

Amazing April Challenge! - Day3

I am going strong! :)

Been getting 10 hours of sleep each night... I'm sure I can't continue this but I've felt really sleepy lately, so I decided I should go to sleep. duh.

I exercised really hard yesterday. Did 45 mins of treadmill in the morning and 60 mins of boot camp after work. It was SO hard that I ended up skipping my usual dance class but I had a great workout so I don't feel bad about it. :)

Today I am sore... but in a good-I-worked-my-body way. TOM is here and I'm sure I haven't lost a pound yet but such is life.

I decided a while ago that I have no plans to GIVE UP until it is DONE! and even then I will keep going to make sure I maintain. I mean business and I want results... so I'm GONNA MAKE IT HAPPEN (Also, the name of my group by the way. lol.)

Plan for today:
Got my 30 mins of cardio in and did kickboxing so that's sort of strength training :) Or at least my muscles look like they are working!

Amazing April Challenge! Lose 5% body weight in 8 - Day1

I didn't sleep well last night. Tossed and Turned... mind thinking of all sorts of things.

But I had a plan... and a purpose. So, at 7:20 I kept my promise and headed to my home gym and EXERCISED!!! and you know what? I feel amazing! I always did love AM workouts...


I did 36 mins of cardio and some kickboxing.

I packed my lunch.

I had a healthy breakfast.

I picked my clothes out the night before and had a smooth morning!

:) Happy Monday!! and... it's April Fools DAY but I won't be tricking any of you! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
