Vision Collage: How I spent my Saturday!

This is what I did on this very cold/rainy Saturday. I got a chance to go through a few of my million old fitness magazines and found some pictures/phrases/ and fitness routines that I really like! One thing I learned was that I prefer motivational phrases over pictures, but I have some nice pictures of Abs that I can use for motivation!

    My husband "found" mine yesterday. It's hanging on the wall in front of my treadmill and has been for 3 months. Shows how often he goes into the guest room/gym.

    I know! I felt like a kid while doing it... BUT I must admit it was fun to me! lol... And I do hope that it whill be helpful. I feel like it will! Because at the end of the day, what I want is to be healthy and happy!

    Lovely! I did mine a couple of weeks ago and felt a little ridiculous - but once I got into it the phrases were the best. Statements of my version of success that don't always have anything to do with fitness.

Make each day count!

So... I guess I'm weird but I really don't have my sights on 2010 yet. I mean, I know it's coming soon/ less than a month but I feel like I can accomplish so much before then lol that I don't want to give up and look forward to 2010 goals yet! Here we go! I just finished my Exam and I have free time so this is what I like to do for fun!

My goals for The rest of December:

1. Be able to do 50 Pushups in a row: emoticon !! emoticon 12-13-09

2. Get into the 130's! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Even if it's only 139. :-D

3. Do 12 Strength training sessions ! emoticon 12-13-09 (3 down) emoticon

4. Drink 64 oz every day emoticon

5. Sleep 7 hours a night (minimum) emoticon

6. Do ONE pull up unassisted before Jan 1! :-) emoticon

7. Track my food/exercise every day til 1/1/10 emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

8. Do SOMETHING exercise related every day. at least 15 mins. So far so good!

Future Goals- begin training for My MARCH 2010 half marathon! Do a Triathlon *which consists of me improving my swimming skills.

Run the March race in a Sports Bra! LOL! Seriously!!

  Oh, I love your goals! And I love that last one of running the march race in a sports bra! I'm in a colder area so I'm going to have to wait to do something like that until June or July but I still think that is an awesome goal.

Happy December!!!

This is the LAST month of the year and my Final Grind of 09' challenge! I am DETERMINED to bring in the new year feeling proud of ALL of the progress I have made in the year; emotionally, physically, spiritually...

I am going to try for "2 a days" 3x a week (starting Saturday- after my test)
I'm going to eat clean(which for me means to pack my lunch and prepare my meals at home)/ and continue the Beck diet plan and( stick to my diet plan)
After my exam sleep 7-8 hours a night.
drink 64 oz of h20
walk my dog everyday (at least 10 mins)
pray and journal and study as much as possible.
Clean/Declutter my apt regularly

This is just a guideline. My true goal is to learn balance/ compassion for my body/ and to give my all always!

OH and I've been taking the stairs every day in the hospital! And you'd better believe the Future Doc does a LOT of running around in that hospital! lol

I will STOP at NOTHING to get what I want. (within reason of course)
I just burned 513 cals on the Bike while studying GO ME! (@ 10:30 p.m.)

How beautiful is this paragraph? Think about it. We are powerful. We can do anything we attempt when we refuse to ACCEPT defeat. Maybe it is that we just need to ACCEPT that we deserve happiness, to be the center of attention sometimes, deep deep deep joy. We DESERVE it. And the honest truth is that, our not getting it does not help others. I am vowing to LIVE to the FULLEST potential I can. Maybe I will have to keep rededicating myself to this. ... but I am worth it. I am MEANT to shine. I am meant to discover what TrUE TRUE happiness feels like. I deserve to wake up and know that I have done all I could to reach my dreams and God is in control of the rest. and so do you.

Thanksgiving just passed and we all had at least one thing to be thankful for. At the very least you are still breathing (hopefully if you are reading this~ LOL). I'm going to take some time to write a list of all the things I'm thankful for, all the things I desire, and then I will make some kind of plan to get them. While accepting that if I don't get everything I want, I still have the joy of knowing I put my all into it.

Have you been giving 100%? I can do better. Now, go out there and LIVE!

    Oh NO NO NO these things don't just apply to you! :) Thank you so much for posting this quote - it came along again in my life at just the right time. I stayed the same this week weight-wise, but I accomplished my first 5 mile race and THAT is a big difference for me! I'm riding that wave and I look forward to my first 5K this weekend. I'm pushing to be the best I can be and that is my right! :)

Beck Diet principles

I'm holding myself accountable tomorrow :-) (Oh and I have been reading Beck Diet solution... I love this book!)

At the very least I will record my food/ exercise intake
and I am planning my meals the day before.
