I do my weigh-ins on Wednesdays, so I am going to strive to do a "mid-weight-week" check-in blog each Saturday. I think this will help hold me accountable so I won't think I can slide by a few days and get sidetracked from my plan on the weekends. Case in point - the last 3 days I have not been a very good Sparker. While I've kept my calorie intake under control, I definitely have not been making the best food choices and have not been eating a consistent 3 meals like I should. I really need to go to the grocery store and stock up on things so I won't feel tempted to stop by the food carts on my way home. I typically make decent choices at the food carts, but I really need to limit that to twice a week and cook at home.
Eating aside, I suppose I am most disappointed in the fact that today was my first day back in the gym in 3 days. I had committed to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio each day. With work being oh so crazy right now, hitting the couch at the end of the day has been much more tempting than hitting the gym. I am going to take the advice of LINDAJ0621 though and use the gym as a mechanism to destress. So here's to 30 minutes of cardio for the rest of the week until my weigh-in on Wednesday. If I want to lose that 1.5lbs this week I'm going to have to work!!!
I did get 45 minutes in on the elliptical this afternoon and it felt GREAT! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
